Terrible lawyer, you might as well throw your money away. When you first talk to her, she talks very positive. After you hire her, you are on your own. She never returns your phone calls, office gives you other clients files and very disorganized. She is always in a hurry. Lunch is very important to her. She doesn't explain or fights for your rights. She rushed us through the temporary orders with us not aware how important they were. This did a lot of damage in court. Beware of that. She definitely works for the other side. In court, she doesn't defend you. She just sits there, maybe just ask a question or two that are not important. You give her important information, tell you it is not important. When it comes up in court, she takes you outside, yells at you in front of everybody and accuses you of not telling her. We fired her. Unfortunately, she had done a lot of damage by then. Don't know how she sleeps at night.

Horrible lawyer She said she can and will do this and that wrong !she does not council you on what’s the best way to go about doing things you have to think for yourself , countless mistakes on documents , I got a call from her office I was at work saying I had court WTF they never even gave me advance notice I had to leave work and go downtown this was my first court date , she will argue with you as if she’s on the other side’s team , did not answer 80% of my questions thru out the year rarely calls back she will not fight for you period !

This is the worst attorney I have ever seen. When I met with her, she promised me the moon. Once my $1500 check was cashed, I could never get her to return calls. When she did file, she made lots of mistakes. And, she retracted all the promises she made in the beginning. I ended up firing her and going elsewhere. DO NOT use her! She's pathetic.

She never returns calls, never keeps you updated as to how case is going. She is never in the office the. Her legal aids never returned any phone calls. Met with Mrs. Saldana and everything she promised me when I finally met with her in her office it was a complete 360 in court. Dont hire her if you dont want to lose your money.

Melissa Saldana screwed up a very easy custody dispute. She was very quick to take our money, but wouldn't call to me or the other attorney. Once she didn't even show up for court! I've since spoken to several other attorneys who say she is known as one of SA's worst lawyers.

HIGHLY over priced. BAD communication. NEVER returned calls!! Just took my money. Empty promises. In the end, she never completed my paperwork!! I had to hire a seperate attorney to get that fixed. My divorce was hard enough to deal with, but she made it impossible. Always resetting the court date (14 times to be exact) and then charging me $250 each time (15 min cour time) it was reset, yet SHE was the one who wanted to reset it!!! POOR excuse of a lawyer. All she does is bully the other lawyer and raise her voice!! She has no skill, no tact, NOTHING!!! I DO NOT RECCOMMEND HER!! MY 4-6 month divorce took 2.5 years!!!

I FILED FOR DIVORCE IN '02 I JUST GOT OUT OF THE ARMY AND WAS UNEMPLOYED AND MY ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME WAS UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS. I LET HER KNOW UPFRONT THAT MY EX LIVED IN TAMPA, FL. AND I PAID HER $2,000 AND WITHIN 2 MONTHS FOR HER TO TELL ME THAT SHE COULD NOT REPRESENT ME BECAUSE SHE IS NOT LICENSE IN FLORDIA. I HAD TO DO THE REST OF THE PAPERWORK MYSELF BY GOING TO THE LAW LIBRARY. THAT "****" TOOK MY MONEY AND DID'NT DO****. THAT IS THE REASON I RATED HER "BAD". SHE "SUCKS!"

Melissa was a "no show" in court while handling a custody issue. Most of my call went unanswered and she was on vacation the week of our scheduled appointment. I can understand why she is rated so poorly!

Going through a divorce is already a difficult time for anyone but having a very poor attorney to assist with the process makes it even that much more difficult. She makes many promises at the beginning to get hired then when the time comes she does absolutely nothing. She never returns calls, never keeps you updated as to how case is going. You may even question yourself at times as to who exactly she is representing. She has a very bad attitude and will give you false & misleading information throughout the process of your divorce. Worse experience ever. Would never recommend her to anyone.

She was quick to say the case was easy, set a price... months later after sending out 2 bad drafts with the same mistakes on it she wanted more money. I guess she needed to pay herself more for the mistakes she was making for me. The secretary (or whatever she's called) is always out it seems and Ms. Saldana is always "with a client" like you're not one after she gets your money.

Ms. Saldana was very helpful and achieved my expectations and beyond that. When calling for information, if she was not available, her legal aid was there to help with my concerns. I would highly recommend Ms. Saldana to anyone looking for a strong minded and very knowledgeable lawyer. 100% satisfied! ~Derrick~
