No debería ser abogado, sus mentiras y engaños pueden llevarte a una deportación, puede perder tus papeles y tu caso también. Nadie debería ser cliente de una persona como el. Mi caso fue denegado por ineptitud. NO SE DEJEN ENGAÑAR, no es buena persona.

Do not go to Wachholz for your case needs and if you are in the middle of a case and haven't paid the full amount, DONT! Once he gets your full payment, he will never answer a phone call or email again. I have paid nearly 5000 to him and we filed our case 3 years ago, and he literally hides from us when we come in. We can see him in his office, but the receptionist tells us he's in DC handling some "emergency deportation"-not true! He doesn't reveal to me the info. and documents for our case from the NVC. He moved his office twice without telling us. He us if we paid in full we would be put on his "priority list" a.k.a. the list of people he can't squeeze anymore out of so he can forget about their case.I can only get ahold of him if I leave a voice mail sounding like a new client, he calls back within minutes! Currently, he is "working" from home. Finally I contacted Senator Hellers office and they are helping me and urged me to report him to the Nevada Bar. This man is heartless

Found this lawyer online and took care of everything i needed from immigration. He gave good advice and direct. Helped me prepare all the documents and made every meeting. I recommend him.

I hired this lawyer back in 2006 I paid all his fees and if it wasn't because I was on his back all the time I would it be in the same situation as many of their clients because he is a piece of work. After "working" on my case for 2 years he told me that he hired another lawyer to finish with my case with out my permition. So after I found out I fired him and I stood my the side of my new lawyer Lisa Johnson- Firth she is awesome. Finally I had to pay for my case again, but gladly I already got my green card on January of this year.

This guy is a piece of work, to say the least. I made the same mistake everyone else has made. I gave him money and then never heard from him again. I "fired" him in November '08 and asked for a refund (I was doing all of the work anyway), since that day, he has not returned my calls. He didn't even take part in arbitration. I have since filed with the Colorado Bar and the Colorado Supreme Court. I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY NOT TO USE THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A LAWYER!! He runs his offices in the "back alley"..

We hired Wachholz & Associates the 7th of April 2007 on a Department of Labor's Permanent case. We have not been able to reach him since June 2007. the phone number 703-356-9300 is diconnect and the other number 703-536-9300 just goes to answering machine. I do not recommend this law firm or Attorney Douglas P. Wachholz to anyone.

To say the least, I would not recommend this man to anyone. BEWARE: He will be nice and attentive during the first meeting, though as soon as you give money, good luck trying to get in contact with him. Horrible excuse for a lawyer. I started the processing of my wife's residency with him December of 2007 and have not heard from him since. I will be be filing a complaint with the Virginia State Bar and possibly seeking legal action. This man should be disbarred!

I HAVE FOUND IT NECESSARY TO MAKE FORMAL COMPLAINTS TO THE VIRGINIA STATE BAR ASSN., THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE NATIONAL VISA CENTER AND I PERSONALLY SENT COPIES OF EVERYTHING TO THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A LAWYER. HE HAS TAKEN $2000.00 FROM ME, WITHHELD PAPERWORK THAT NVC SENT HIM ( MY STATUS APPROVAL) AND NVC ADVISED ME TO SUBMIT A LETTER TO ALL I HAVE MENTIONED. HE SHOULD BE DISBARRED. In my opinion you are better off filing your USCIS forms on your own. This lawyer (for a lack of better term) is HORRIBLE. He does not return phone calls or email however he gladly took my money. IF you are considering retaining him to represent you I would THINK AGAIN. This lawyer did file paperwork on time but that is all he has done. My wife had her I-130 held up with USCIS and after multiple attempts at contacting Mr. Wachholz without any reply I decided to take actions into my own hands. I paid him up front for his services, what a mistake that was! My next action is file a complaint with the Virgina State Bar. If you are dealing with this Lawyer right now, leave a paper trail, note the days you have attempted to contact him and when all is said and done file your complaint with VSB. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Beware of Douglas Wachholz who does not deliver what he promises. You are better off donating the money you would pay him to your cause otherwise you are throwing your money away. Once he gets your $$$ you are in the jar/can. He has all the work done by college (not even law school students) students who can not even fill out forms correctly, who are paid $8-$10/hours and therefore every two months you have to deal with new face (since he is never there). If you are not sure, call few time to his telephone number and you will get his nicely recorded out going message/not even a receptionist during normal working hours. He will confidently claim to know what he is doing, however you will find out that he is learning at your expense(you need someone who has done it before not someone who is learning). Beware, do not sign his payment agreement or you are done for.
