Around April/May of 2016, I, Rama Reynolds, needed services to file for a divorce with minor children. A consultation with Ms. Wheeler was done and she offered to accept my case as long as my case would be a non-contested divorce. Her fee for such case was $2000.00, which I retained her services that day. I wrote a check in the amount of $2000.00 and signed a contract stating there was a $500.00 non-refundable fee if I no longer needed her services. A non-contested divorce was not agreeable between both parties. In November of 2016, I contacted the law firm stating I would not be needing their services at all. Only services I received by this Law Firm was the initial consultation and nothing more. I have made several attempts to contact this law firm via mail and phone calls with absolutely no response to resolve this issue at hand.

What an obnoxious woman! Eats food during a formal depostion! Almost late for most meetings/depositions! Needs a complete makeover and a reminder as to ethics as she apparently is interested only in how much money she can make while potentially ruining peoples lives and those of their children while apparently defending those she knows to be guilty!

Claudia Wheeler is simply the worst. She is rude, crude and does not know the law very well. She always was canceling meetings, depos, hearings on me constantly. Oh and she NEVER was on time for one single thing. I had to constantly take off work and drive the hour to see her only to have her cancel or be late or reschedule for another day for me to take off work. Do yourself a favor and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

She will lead you to believe you can have the world if you're just willing to put forth $$$$ & time. In reality, the only thing you will get is what you settle for in mediation. After $20,000 and an entire year went by a friend of a friend (attorney) suggested I go elsewhere. The new attorney cost me 1/4 the price and had the entire divorce done in 4 weeks. She allows her employees to bring their babies and animals with them to work. Paying $$$$ for employees that are constantly distracted is wrong. No matter how mad or upset you are, try to settle with your soon to be ex. There are guidelines for child support and the norm is 50/50 for everything else, unless you can agree otherwise. She will charge you a fortune to represent you, but no matter what you have to go through mediation first anyway. The ONLY ones that make out in a divorce are the lawyers. Even if I felt I came out ahead in the divorce, its going to take a lot for me to make up the $30,000 in attorney fees.

HOMEWRECKER! By far Wheeler does not advocate for parent/child relasionships. She is nasty and will find any unethical way to win her case and make sure that drags it out long enough to gain every dime she can. If you have the money to fork out, have every malicious intention to destroy the relationship with your children's other parent and are cold hearted she may be the attorney for you. She works for her best interest and I have seen this first hand in my own case. She has based her case on out and out lies. She also took money from a friend of mine and when he caught on to her game he decided to let her go and she refused to return his money. I concur with previous comments.

This lawyer left my custody case unresolved so when my son turned 5 and started school I had a big battle on my hands. Then she milked every dime I had out of me then dumped my case even though we agreed that my last payment would see the issues to completion. I have had two hear attacks over the nightmare she created and absolutely ZERO justice because of the mess she created. She has become totally lethargic and is living on her earlier reputation that no longer exists. She also took $5,000 from a friends wife as a retain then would not return it once they reconciled even though nothing was ever filed. This lawyer has been reduced to a common thief. ....................................... Legal Disclaimer because some lawyers are total dirt-bags: This is my opinion even though facts can be provided to back it up.

Ms wheeler estimated my entire divorce would cost $27000 I gave up when I was over $100,000 in nowhere near trial and told I need experts for another $85,000 I discovered she withheld settlement offers from my spouse's attorney and deliberately kept us at war to get paid and advising that I would win at trial when she knew I would lose primarily due to her misconduct and negligence

My wife retained Atty Wheeler to initiate a high conflict divorce against myself and my 3 year old daughter. Thanks in large part to her horrendous legal advice, dirty legal tactics and incompetence representing my wife, I am likely to easily prevail at trial. I would like to send her a "bonus" check for all her assistance to my case, and pray that my wife doesnt wake up and switch to competent counsel

As a current client of Attorney Wheeler, I hoghly recommend her to anyone who needs an attorney in the field she practices. She is bold and aggressive yet sympathetic and caring about concerns that clients need, as with myself. All in a nutshell-she is highly recommended!!

Wow, I can't begin to tell you how Claudia changed my life. No one can ever say she doesn't take personal interest in her clients. I didn't have any money, and emotionally at a point in my life that I wanted to throw in the towel. When in Claudia's office I revealed something that I had never told a soul. She gave me "straight Foward" adivise that I did not want to hear, but it was the right thing to do and following her advice changed my life. She took my case pro bono and my children who are now in their twenties still remember Caudia taking them for french fries and asking them questions. She is a great lawyer. Susan Stearns

I had Claudia as a lawyer back in 2004 and yes sometimes she is late but her work and work ethic is amazing her fees might be high but she is a shark and you always pay good money for shark THANKS CLAUDIA!!!! also thanks to her i got what i needed and deserved and so did my ex =} and it seem like she does care for her clients thanks_ MJ

Ms. Wheeler's incompetent representation left me in financial ruin. She was unable to comprehend the intricate nature of the business matters involved in my divorce case. Furthermore, when I requested that she pursue specific legal actions, she became offended and used her legal leverage to attack me and allow the opposing counsel to have the upper hand. I will file charges against her with the Florida Bar Association. Choose another attorney who will have your best interest at heart. Ms. Wheeler is NOT that attorney; she is only interested in feeding her monstrous ego.

Stay clear of Claudia! She is unprofessional and abusive towards her clients. At first she comes across as aggressive, like someone you would want fighting on your behalf. After you pay your retainer fee she turns. She has cursed at me, belittled me and threatened to drop me if I didn't go to trial for my divorce. Her office does not return phone calls, requiring you to call again and again. Every time you call into her office you are charged a minimum fee. Statements are not sent out monthly. Once you do get one you owe an astronomical amount.
