In a recent meeting with him to discuss Social Security Planning, he explained that he no longer practiced law,and only did financial planning. His knowledge and ability to communicate are unsurpassed. He can take very complex legal and financial topics and explain them in a manner that a first grader could understand. His seminars are informative and entertaining. He really is different than most lawyers I have met. I trusted him with a lot of money.

In 2007 Holker met with our family at our request to assess my father's estate prior to dad's entry in to a nursing home. He saved our family hundreds of thousands of dollars. It was refreshing to talk to someone who actually does know what he is talking about.

Ken took advantage of my parents' money. He sold my parents out of non-callable bonds yielding 6 to 8 1/2% and then proceeded to lock their money up in 15-year long equity index annuities, in which the stiff surrender penalties were not appropriately disclosed.

I attended one of his Seminars where he told a story about one of his sons discussing his father with one of the sons friends. His son explained to the friend : "My dad doesn't handle stupid very well". After reading these comments I now understand the meaning of his son's comments. If they are going to make negativecomments,they should atleast get their facts correct.
