I finally got around to making a will as well as powers of attorney and care. I sought out Anne as I had heard good things about her. I felt that Anne was really working WITH me as I grappled with difficult decisions. She challenged me to think carefully about what I wanted to achieve with these documents. In the end,I am very pleased with the process and the results. I highly recommend Anne as a lawyer for your will and powers of attorney and care.

She was also kind and caring and listened to me and truly understood where I was coming from. She helped me see my spouse's side , as well as my own. In addition to Anne Freed's competence as a lawyer, with regards to the points addressed in the rating I saw in her a person of compassion. I called her at a particularly busy season of the year and needed her assistance 'yesterday'! She could have made me wait but she responded promptly to my call and to my need and tried her best to work within the time crunch that I had placed on her. Ms Freed help turn a challenging situation around with her good communication skills and tenacity and she also did this in cooperation, not competition, with my wonderful lawyer (who I wish I could name!) which shows not only leadership skills but team player skills. Anne helped remove at least two major obstacles and she got the ball rolling in my case. She is the sort of person who could probably talk someone off a ledge! And also someone who cares enough to do that. To me she lived up to her name, she played a significant role in my being freed.

Thank God for Ms. Freed! I had the divorce from hell and thanks to her expertise, knowledge and experience the whole case was finally concluded in the fairest possible way. I had switched lawyers twice. My first lawyer charged $10,000. For two days of work! Ms. Freed actually saved me a lot of money because she encouraged me to be reasonable while still protecting my rights. When you are faced with losing your children you would do well to have Ms Freed representing you because she will leave no stone unturned in preparing your case and representing you either in court or in mediation. I will be forever grateful to her!

Anne mediated the settlement agreement in my divorce and did a fantastic job. She ensured the settlement was fair to both parties and that both of us got what we were entitled to making for a far less contentious separation. Thanks to Anne, I walked away from the proceedings happy - something you don't often hear in divorce cases.

Anne Freed really helped our family out of a very stressful time in our lives. She is very compassionate and works hard. Her fees are not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for (they are clearly not the most expensive either!). This lawyer understood that the only reason why we went to her was to get our problem solved. What's best about her is that months after our "situation" resolved itself, she went out of her way to call me to follow up just to make sure that we were doing ok. That really impressed us. I recommend that anyone with an Ontario family law issue retain her services. Anne Freed isn't your typical lawyer and that's what makes her pleasantly different from sharks who only want to make money from our misfortunes.

I totally disagree with the previous posting. This lawyer is incredible. She has years of experience and works magic. She was able to solve my serious family dispute by thinking out of the box. I higly recommend her to you and if you want results, she's the right lawyer for the file. ALthough my matter was not a divorce mediation, I hear that she is one of the best in Canada for these matters. Her office is right on the subway line and she really takes her time to understand things before giving advice. I wouldnt have made it through my circumstances without her sage advice and experience.

First met this lawyer in 1990 and found her to be a caring professional that listened to her clients. I retained her again and found her to have a Mr. Hide Dr. Jekill personality.I was told she only worked with money upfront, but I could rest assured that my file would have her undivided attention. She informed me later she had a preview read of my file on her way to Montreal.At our second meeting she constantly interruped me until I told her we weren't going anywhere. She said that everything was a big confusion, but as I was leaving and told her I had doubts of her understand me, everything all of a sudden was clear in her head. I wanted a mediator but needed her also to look at my Net Family Propriety. She said she could not act as both, but made no objection at looking at the NFP, she later told me I had chosen to retain her as a lawyer. Which wasn't true. She does not follow instructions, I feel I was conned by this lawyer and sorry I looked for her again.I don't recomend her.
