Where do I start?!? Greg is absolutely the best attorney in all of New York. He is responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. He will tell you like it is and not waste your time or money on nonsense. His experience has served him well during litigation. He really came through for my situation as a dad. I feel that I was represented with the absolute best. Trust the process and trust in Greg. From the very beginning he took his time to understand the situation. I didn't want someone that was just on my side because I was paying them. I wanted someone see the facts and tell me like it is. If he felt that I needed to see something from another perspective, he said it. I believe that he is as close to a judge that you can get. With that being said, I am absolutely happy with Greg and would recommend him to anyone that needs to be represented. This is the person that you want!!

I had a really tough case. My ex and her SOB lawyer through the kitchen sink at me, orders of protection, criminal charges, child protective services, the whole nine yards. Greg did a really good job navigating through all of that and I ultimately ended up in a good place with his help. Once things got really ugly, most of my friends and work colleagues were advising me to go with a big name lawyer from the city, but I felt good about Greg and am I glad I kept him on. He wrote a beautiful brief explaining why the requested order of protection had no merit and the opposing side ended up withdrawing it. At the end of the day, he is good. I would use him again.

He is very experienced, professional, confident and works for his clients as if the case were his own. He knows his client's cases thoroughly, having sharp clarity about the details of where we've been and where we are going. Gregory is an amazing divorce lawyer. I was very stressed getting divorced as there were quit a lot of wrinkles sent my way however I thank God Gregory was on my side. He has a very calm demeanor and definitely goes at bat for you. If you need a great lawyer, Gregory Salant is the one.

Greg represented me in a very difficult divorce and custody case. I started over 4 years ago with an attempt at mediation which got stuck due to my ex wife's intransigence. Once the manipulation of my children by their mother went over the top, I brought Greg in to help me sort this in court. He was on top of the task and understood my situation. Thanks to his expertise my children are now free to grow up happy - and spend majority of their time with me, out of the toxic environment in their mothers' home. If I could do it all over again - I would have brought him on board immediately and wouldn't waste time, money and goodwill on mediation that was doomed to fail. Divorce is no fun for anyone - but if you realize that your soon to be ex spouse has no concept of compromise, get Greg's professional help, it's worth it.

I offered my ex husband 50% custody and 50% equity up front at the first meeting between my lawyer and Mr. Salant. Rather than taking this fair deal, Mr. Salant turned it into a circus by playing on my ex-husband's emotions and ridiculous accusations. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal billable hours were accrued by both lawyers. Two years later, my ex-husband wound up with two teenage daughters who barely speak to him and closer to 30% of our equity. The court, financial actuary, forensic psychologist and court appointed attorney for my teenage daughter saw through Mr. Salant's circus. He is cold hearted and a poor judge of character, who allows his pocket to overpower his sense of fairness and common sense. He was unnecessarily belligerent and aggressive towards me, strutting around like a bully on a playground. Luckily the court system has very little tolerance for this kind of behavior in the end.

Mr. Salant just finalized my divorce with amazing results. He was recommended to me and saved my case! I had a prior attorney and switched to Greg two months into the case - thank god! Not only was he cheaper but so much better! His reasonable approach and strategy really worked well for me. He was very detailed orientated and prepared. Even my ex-wife said she wished she had hired Greg.

He was mediocre. Not terrible, but not good at all. He compromises everything and destroyed my life, but I really did that myself. In court, he tried to represent me to the best of his ability but it blew up in my face. What did I get: I'm sorry, I bet everything on that one idea. And he claimed to have another plan but it was a lie, just slash and burn. Not a bad attorney, but I will never consider this guy again.

Keep looking! This guy is not a fighter. My wife's lawyer was very aggressive and nasty. Greg on the other hand buddied up to him and my wife. I felt very alone in the process ,for is minimal work he was well paid

Greg was my lawyer in an extremely difficult divorce case. My ex-wife made false claims that I was a heavy drinker in an attempt to deny me equal custody of my daughter. She also made several other false claims about me not being a good parent. Then she tried to cheat me out of tens of thousands of dollars. Greg was able to block all of these attempts. He was very calm and responsive throughout the process. In addition, he was extremely fair about the billing- I got charged less than half of what my ex-wife's lawyer charged her. He was also honest about what was worth going to court over and what wasn't- he helped me get to a negotiated settlement even though he would have made a lot more if the case had gone to court. I now have shared custody of my daughter and was protected financially. His paralegal Charlene is great too. I highly recommend Greg.

Greg Salant was my lawyer for almost 4 years in an extremely dragged out custody modification. I liked how he was honest and realistic with me. When it came time to the trial I saw just how brutal he could be! I'm so glad he was my lawyer and not the opposing counsel. He is confident and knows his stuff. I am extremely pleased that he was able to show the judge that there was no reason to modify custody and everything stayed as it was. I would highly recommend him!

Greg took over my divorce case a few months before trial and helped me reach a great settlement. He is aggressive, patient and always available. I wish I hired him earlier as he is an amazing attorney and asset to legal profession. Worth every penny and much more reasonable with his billings than my prior attorney.

salant is a loose cannon: minimally educated and confident due to the fact that he has a serious napoleon complex. desparate to use and reuse every trick in the book...no wonder he's envious of anyone who ever graduated from a decent law school. what a guido!!!!

You get what you pay for. He's really good. He's aggressive and witty and he's exactly what you need in your defense - a pitbull! He is not one of those lawyer who will sugar coat things to make you think you are in the right. He will tell you the truth b/c he cares. He is knowledgable and proactive. Highly recommended.

I went to my first meeting with Greg with a very simple case, that almost instantaneously become more complicated. n the spot Greg proposed solutions and the way to implement them. A few months latter, and with minimal effort from my part, the process ended with a perfect resolution for me. Greg was great during all the process, explained avery step carefully and help me to take inform decisions. This lawyer wont read your case and will charge you for frivolously things like faxes, drop offs, messages and phone calls. Basically he is a rip off artist that cannot litigate. Don't waste your money. He is really lazy!!!!
