Everything said about her is true. She hates men and forced me to give up way more than I should have. She was nasty disrespectful and rude. Worst attorney ever. Actually reversed everything that was in my favor. I wish I never used her to represent me. Worst decision I've ever made. Cost me tens of thousands. Stay away!! Disgrace

I found Ms. Maggs to be very knowledgable and aggressive in her field. She is a very strong woman and will fight for you all the way, whether you are male or female. I know a number of people who have used her for their divorces and she has given them her all. I would use her again and reccomend her to anybody.

After 8 months and $20,000 later, it was me, not Maggs or her sidekick Shor that settled my own divorce.. If not for my now ex and myself, I would have nothing left.. Marguerite is anti male, she recommended I give everything up in assets and fight for shared custody of my child.. I agree in a fight for custody, but to give everything up in which I did was shameful.. She believes in the women getting everything, and the male starting over.. From our two motions right to the actual settlement, I was requested to give more up.. This is her style, she loves to talk a big game, and will even tell you she is the best in NJ.. Talk about misrepresentation, Irene Shor shows up at a 4-party meeting holding someone else's file, then proceeds to tell me she knows my file inside and out and doesn't need my file to represent me.. This firm is a disgrace.. When people call attorney's money ****'s, it's very easy to see in this case.. Do yourself a favor, do not hire this firm, you will go broke....

In my divorce proceding she misrepresented herself to acqire me as a client,saying that the $200 a week plus my child support was a rediculous amount of money for my ex to ask for considering my income. The day before the trial outside the judges chambers she pressured me into settling on everything my ex demanded. she stating that if I wanted to use any of the experts I had paid through her insistance in court, I would need $15,000 the next day because thier reports were not admisable, i would have to pay them for a full day in court. She pressured me into taking FULL liability for a IRS debt, not half, The IRS later denied my right to even do so. Then I had to fight the IRS and my ex. She pressured me into accepting a $200 a week alimony fee plus child support and said we can come back in 3 yrs and request a change but never called it rehabilatative (residual income for her). She didnt compromise anything in my favor. 2 yrs earlier my ex asked for $500/wk. She now gets $507/wk
