After paying him $5,000, three years later were were still at the same place. Kept asking for more documentation no matter how much we provided. When they started asking for documents that would be required at the immigration interview we wised up and filed with immigration ourselves. Three months later my husband was approved for his Permanent Residency. Do not use this attorney, will do nothing more than take your money and give you nothing back in return. I have filed a complaint with BBB and the Texas Bar Association. I encouraged everyone else to do the same. We are the only ones that can stop this thief.

If there was a Zero here,that's exactly what would rate this firm, I've had my case open since 2010 and it's true , i have paid about 4k, paid in full abt 1 yr ago...today I find out these people still have not turned in my immigration package after they lied to me 5 months back. How do they run a business like this and stay open?losing important documents, I think I might of sent the same docs 4 times. Every time i get in touch with them some doc has expired...i have to call them for status and if they call me back , it might be about 2 mo later or never...This firm is so inconsiderate , they are playing with people's life's , this is just so cruel,, Today Ive decided to work directly with immigration and no longer deal with Reina Law Firm, I just made someone richer by giving away money I worked so hard for, with a dream of a better future for my kids and husband with nothing in return but lies from these attorneys, I will spread the word about this firm...

joseph reina is no a good lawyer charge me more than 1,ooo and nothing.has happend.. never return my calls it's been more tan 5 months now and nothing hasn't happen i call then and ask for a appointment and they say they are going to return my calls and that never happend.go pay some other lawyer because, joseph reina is no good at all ....that lawyer is a thief all he wants is to steal your money, do not hire joseph reina,,,,,please

Bad service, i regret having the to represent my case...i have give him more than 7k for my case and nothing yet more than 3 years!!! Will not recommend this lawyer, never answers phone calls, they dont call back, and when they do is to charge u for weird fees like paper work and staff..!!!

Mr. Reyna is a good and smart attorney but his staff is worse then a pig. Mr Reyna has lots of knowledge but it is very unlikely that you will ever meet him for you case. Their paralegal acts like they knows everything and when real thing come, this people won't even answer your call. Forget abt emails as they will never reply you. All they want is damn money and dinero. Staff is just awful. Again like to tell yall that I had to quit Reyna because of his staff.

we are a current client and this has been a nightmare. They took all of our money without a problem but they haven't done anything they promised. They have made multiple mistakes, they have lost important documents, never returned our calls, our case has been handled already by more than 4 different paralegals and 3 0 4 different lawyers. I think people like this, without ethic, shouldn't be allowed to represent the law... it's a shame.... and I wish i could do something to stop them.

Horrible experience. I would not recomend this law firm. Mr. Reyna is very knowledgeable in the subject but the ohter lawyers and parallegals are awful. They take forever to forward the case to the immigration office. Parallegals don't return phone calls.

I'm in law enforcement and deal with many lawyers. Reina law firm is by far the worse I have ever incountered. I would recommend nobody use their services. I'm surprised they haven't been formally filed against with the state. They have lied to me as well number of times as well and handle my wifes case terribly.

they are incompetent & unprofessional,I handled my own case with Immigration.our assistant” would call us and give us the wrong information or never returned calls or our” paralegal was always busy or never available. We had so many issues with them but this is the worst:On April 16 2010 they received a notice from Immigration regarding my case and requesting more information but it was on June 23,after two months! that our assistant”called stating the documents requested from Immigration since April 16 needed to be sent to her immediately (by Friday June 25)or we would be sent to Immigration Court! That is unacceptable & unappropriate that is why we make them responsible for any consequences this can cause our case.
All was paid months ago but 1 payment went late & tons a people called me!its clear to me that they have time to collect money but no time to work on cases.It will be really unfortunate if this happens to other people that I will let everyone I know about my experience

I agree with all the bad reviews. I'm in Chicago and they treated me the same: they don't do the work they are being paid for: this means I paid in full to file an application and they sat on it for months and then said they woulddo something else instead and then after that said they would go back and file in the future. I asked for a refund and after months of waiting denied the refund and after calling for an explanation and a chance to explain the whole situation got refused call backs and they LIED about calling me also.They don't call back in a timely matter if you are a client and when you complain they don't call you back at ALL!!! I'm so disgusted with this firm. I hope not all lawyers are like this because I have to find a replacement.

I am currently a client of reina & bates. I regret ever making them my immigration lawyers. I have had a contract with them since july of 09' and 8 months later, my husband and I have only had one appointment with a paralegal to get out paper work, wich she said would be looked over by a lawyer. We have never been told exactly who our appointed lawyer is. I have called a numerous amount of times to ask what is the progress with our case but we they never return any calls. We have made every payment on time, and have gotten nothing in return so far. This is just the experience I have had with this law firm, and I would honestly not recommend it to any one looking for and immigration lawer.

If Mr. Joseph Reina were the principle lawyer handling our case, maybe my husband would have his green card by now. His paralegals do not return phone calls and they LIE that they do. They are inconsistent in their collection of facts however, they are quick to collect the funds that you owe. They don't even know how to file a g-28 form correctly (which is required by USCIS for representation). Mr. Reina and his staff did not produce the results that they promised. Even after we consistently requested our money back, we were denied and we formally terminated them.

After paying over $3k to have our case prepared (a quite easy case from talking with other immigration attorneys), my wife and I have had an overall AWFUL experience using Reina & Bates. Our case has been juggled around between 6-7 attorneys, dozens of paralegals - all who have no clue about the status of our case. Their staffing inconsistencies has caused poor preparation of our immigration documents, and in turn - we have never received any documents from USCIS....even after we were formally approved at the interview. We call Reina & Bates to figure out what is going on - and of course...no one has a clue there. Where did our money go? What was it used for? This law firm qualifies for a flunking grade.

they are quick to collect your money, but you can never talk to anyone after you give your case to them. They failed to notice an important information on my case, and to give proper advice. The attorney did not show up to our interview for adjustment of status, and due to their irreponsability I failed to receive my green card. It was not until I was able to get things straintened out on my own, that they contacted me!!! They have way to many clients and they will not take care of yur case as they should. My case was a very easy case, and they failled!!
