I made huge mistake by going to this attorney for my divorce. I haven't seen my kids in nearly seven years. This is my experience and that cannot be contested

My wife hired this guy to do a very basic custodial agreement. She had about a 1 hour initial consult (most family attorneys will do this at deep discount), then drafted up a document which was basically an edited template. Probably required an hour tops, most likely much less. The next thing I know, my zero balance credit card has a balance of $5,000 on it, conveniently maxed out. These people essentially charged my naive wife the entire limit of our credit card, for about 2 hours of work or less. My attorney friends and colleagues would have charged maybe $300-400 for something like this. When I found about the scam, and after I calmed down, I called them to demand an anwer and a refund. They have been giving my wife and I the runaround for a week, and have yet to refund our money. Next step is the california bar association.

Very unresponsive, my case dragged, does not explain the applicable family law, court paper filings had errors. I had a very negative experience with this lawyer.

No call backs, no communication, no sense of urgency, inconvenient hours, no quality and no value. Unhelpful office staff - That pretty much sums it up.
