I would highly discourage against Jeffries & Associates. Extremely poor quality work, lack of responsiveness, no attention to detail. They submitted incorrect critical papers during my Green Card application process of which I almost lost my status. Extremely frustrating and felt as if I had to constantly look over their shoulders. Please do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost!

I am a foreign graduate medical doctor and filed the EB2-NIW category. Many of my fellow foreign graduate doctors filed green card applications with this law firm with a positive experience. The evaluation was very thorough yet supportive with a positive atmosphere and many encouragements. The actual process was adequately supported and promptly checked. I was able to obtain my green card within 8 months from the filing date. Mr. Tricario was in charge of my case and I HIGHLY recommend him. He always responded quickly to my email and even checked on me regularly to make sure the preparation process was going okay. I am absolutely impressed by his high work ethic and enthusiasm to make this stressful experience much better. Also, I cannot finish my review without mentioning Ms. Mattingly who is professional and trustworthy. Overall, my experience with Stephen Jeffries and Associates is highly positive without a doubt and strongly recommend this law firm for anybody especially IMGs.

I am an investment banker. I filed a successful Eb1 application with Stephen and Radu. I have nothing but words of praise for their guidance, commitment to my case and ultimately a successful outcome. I worked primarily with Radu, who was always on point guiding me in preparing the application material. We had a tight deadline, Radu was very diligent, responsive and provided all the necessary guidance for the application, reference letters. I worked with Tracy and Brandon to file Adj of status. They were both very knowledgeable and prompt.
My bank's counsel had suggested I don't have valid grounds. Radu and Stephen suggested I have a good shot and it is worth trying. They are very experienced, so I was lucky to have them prepare and present my application when my survival depended on this approval! I recommend them 100% - its absolutely worth getting a consult with them to get a reasonable answer as to your grounds of success.

I was applying for an EB-1A green card in somewhat unusual circumstances. I was working in India and had no offer of employment in the US. In the first interview Mr Jeffries reassured me that I was qualified for apply and had a good chance of being approved. His team has some extremely competent and hard-working people. Eric Hause did an excellent job of helping us through the preparation of the petition, formatting the letters of support and so on. Teresa Mattingly was superb in helping us through the process of Adjustment of Status at a time when rules were changing frequently and the administration was immensely hostile to immigration of any kind. They were prompt with responses to emails and on the two occasions when I felt the need to speak to Mr Jeffries, I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours.

We have had contact with Stephen Jeffries and Associates for more than 10 years and in that space of time they were responsible for handling our family's J-Visa Waiver, O-Visa, H-1 Visa, Student F1 Visa and Green cards. Their understanding of the law around Immigration is beyond excellent and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were were available at all times to answer emails and the phone when needed. They prepared all our documents, made it very clear exactly what was needed to be signed as well as which auxillary documents such as references etc., we needed to obtain. We did everything they asked us to do and they did their part in preparing the documents for submitting. Without them we would not have succeeded in all our applications. They are tenacious and rooted for us from the very beginning. They felt like family and still do and I recommend them to everyone I meet who needs Immigration Services. In fact, I passed their number to someone today!

The worst lawyer I've visited in my ten years of living as an immigrant, on a high-qualified work visa, green card sponsored by employer. My experience with Mr. Stephen Jeffries was terrible; his advice was entirely wrong and confusing (I got this checked from my own lawyer), and I felt completely cheated on the consultation fee. What is most disturbing is that, he advises from a very biased point-of-view. As a young woman, I felt he was almost speaking with a certain prejudice regarding my situation. His attitude lacked objectivity and professionalism. I believe, he has a certain entitlement about being who he is. I've used some of the best lawyers in the world including Fragomen and Sagardoy and ones, who also offer free legal consulting. So, I say from an informed perspective that lawyers such as him should not be practicing out there. If you're in a serious legal situation, my advice is not go to him. In fact, I feel he should retire along with his age-old ideas

Wonderful experience! Stephen Jeffries law firm helped me with NIW EB2 application. The whole process of immigration is often not an easy one but their help made it much easier for me! They are professionals, very committed, and extremely knowledgable. Every time I had a question, they were responsive and helpful. Wonderful experience! I got my green card through NIW-EB2. I worked directly with Mr. Jeffries and Ms. Corigliano. Both are super knowledgeable and on top of things. Every time I had a question, they got back to me shortly even on a weekend. My case was not straightforward and required extra steps but Mr. Jeffries showed me the best way the very first day I talked to him. To be honest, I can't imagine a better experience. Let me give you an example. I am a physician and to me the best medical service is when your doctor makes the right diagnosis and CURES you. If the hospital food is not great, it's not important to me. This Law office is exactly the same. They're amazing conductors who will get you to the point safely. Every case has it's own ups and downs but with them you feel comfortable that you've chosen the best way. I highly recommend them to everybody especially those in the medical field and/or research.

I would strongly recommend this firm for any physician seeking an EB 1 A petition approval. Mr Jeffries and his entire team especially Mr Radu Vasilescu very extremely helpful in every step of my petition. Right from the time Mr. Jeffries had a phone consult with me until the filing of I 485 , I was impressed with the promptness and efficient communication . Radu would address any concern I had and get back to my email queries within a day . The letters of recommendation that he drafted were powerfully worded and supported my case strongly . Though I was sceptical through the process , Radu assured me that my case was strong and encouraged me in each step . Awful firm. Do a shoddy job of researching your case and then file for an inappropriate visa just to bilk you for more cash when the visa is converted to something suitable. I was eligible for H1b but they advised I apply for O visa and of course -I got rejected. Poor communication with no idea of what's going on. No apology, no explanation and of course no refund. Stay away from these guys - unless you like giving $$$ away

I recommend Mr.Jeffries and Mr. Vasilescu without hesitation for immigration services, I am a physician, working in a medically underserved area through conard 30 program after I finished my residency under J1 visa,they helped me to reinstate my H1B status after it was shortened when I came back to US after an international trip, I was unaware of the situation until almost a year later. It was a unique and a challenging case. They are knowledgeable, have a plan and a strategy to tackle the case and most importantly they are punctual and their response to questions was instant. Now, I had my employer hire them to work on adjusting my status to permanent residency. I appreciate all the hard work they do.

Mr Vasilescu helped us successfully secure a J1 hardship waiver and the Green card after approval of our hardship waiver. They were very honest with their assessment of our case for hardship, and for that reason today, I have a 10 year unconditional green card as opposed to the nightmare of a J1 visa with a 2 year home residency requirement.
They were extremely organized in preparing our package. Mr Vasilescu was very thorough, very prompt in answering all our questions at anytime throughout the process, and continued to support our questions at all stages. I felt secure at all times that I have a knowledgeable immigration lawyer who I can fall back to in case any issues / bumps arise during the process.
I highly recommend Mr Vasilescu and his firm for any immigration related needs.

Thsi office only does the average amount of work. They do not consider the clients needs as a human being, i.e. need for travel and so forth. There are no apologies for lousy work. The concierge is not friendly. FeDeX packages can take a whole afternoon for "clearance" in the office to make its way to the particular the paralegal.

I am not an attorney. That's what my company pays them for. I do not expect to have to review their work with a fine tooth comb under a microscope, but that's what I have to do when I deal with them. They send me forms and letters with incorrect information and we have to do much of the work. I would not suggest.

Had a great experience with Stephen Jeffries for my EB1(EA) petition. I am a finance professional and found them knowledgeable and they answered all my queries promptly. My petiton went very smoothly, with I140 approved in premium processing and it was a pleasant surprise to get my Green Card within 3 months of filing I485.

I am a physician and I got my EB1A petition approved and eventually got my Greencard last week with the help of his Team . They did excellent job in my case. Especially Dina Corrigliano is awesome . She is quick to respond to any queries and very knowledgeable. Martin Salas was also very helpful in responding to my RFE. I only had one interaction directly on phone with Mr.Jeffries during my initial review of my case but he was thorough in explaining the EB1A process . I know every case is different but I had positive experience with them . I would definitely recommend their services for EB1A Greencard. One thing I would add , do not expect any attorney to do all the work for you especially in EB1 case. Attornies will guide you and give you templates & draft letters but since you know the best about your own profile you should be ready to spend more time to highlight your extra ordinary abilities

Also, they are rude and unprofessional- Stephen Jeffries is very nice TILL you decide to go with the firm and after that you can never reach him, and the other lawyers his firm employs are not good. Terrible experience with this firm. Filed EB1/EB2 NIW with them. The letter templates they provide were generic and poor quality, and the forms were filled out with several errors. I had to do the majority of the real grunt work myself in finessing the application. Very little guidance or communication from them on the process, and no one seems to know the details of your case. Lots of errors. When I later asked for a copy of the paperwork after receiving a denial and going to a different firm, I discovered flagrant errors in the submitted paperwork. A nightmare. Choose someone else.

never waste your money on this BS law firm, there are far better lawyers in the United States and. believe me any amateur law firm would be better than this.they do not do follow ups on any of the case, they do not care, very rude and INDIFFERENT. no one in this firm cares about your case. It is just a good deal for them to file NIW for you. They just take 5000 upfront, file the worst application ever and never care.the best 5000$ earned because they have never sweated over this money. they are so careless that I have been forced to call USCIS and make inquiries myself. So PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A RIP-OFF LAW FIRM.

He worked on my J1 hardship waiver; one of the best immigration lawyers in the country particularly on waiver. My case was not easy as I don't have children and they were prompt, knowledgeable. I had pleasant experience and the case was successful in 3 month.

I will be suing Stephen Jeffries & Associates for negligence. He does none of the work, he just assigns cases to interns. I hired him 6 months in advance, paid 5,000 and he did no work. No work at all. I did all the work myself. He did nothing. The letters he provided (written by one of his interns) were so bad, that I had to rewrite all of them. The petition he will file for you will be full of errors, be careful. He makes so many mistakes, that if you trust him to do visa work, then you are screwed. He and his staff never respond to any calls, or emails, they are the worst. He only delayed my case for 5 months. Please do yourself a favor and seek a different lawyer. I hope you 're reading this before you hire him.

I wish I could give them a zero instead of 1. Worst immigration lawyers you will ever deal with. You can probably do a better job yourself. The petitions are riddled with errors. Typos, incorrect filing addresses, incorrect names and spellings, ignoring clients' direction on elements of the case, delay in communication, disinterest in communicating to the client.. the list is long.. just shows their lack of interest in competent representation and in clients' success. Try it out on your own.. or go to the lawyer across the street..

The junior staff(who will be working on your case) are not helpful or knowledgeable.They repeat the same language in multiple draft recommendation letters. They copied what I had written in my CV onto the draft recommendationa nd when I questioned them- they said "Oh ! nobody is going to pay so much attention".
