I've been working with Dan now for almost a year on my divorce case. He has been very professional and easy to work with. When I told Dan about my negative experiences with family law attorneys, he told me that he'd like to restore my faith in attorneys... which I would say he has done. I feel that I can trust he has mine and my daughter's best interest in mind, and will advocate for what's in our best interest. Dan Hardee has been my legal counselor for going on three years now. To say he has done an excellent job is an understatement. Hiring Dan Hardee was the best decision I could have made! My original divorce attorney dropped the ball 6 years ago and I ended up with only 17% custody of my son. I tried to modify custody 2 years back with that original attorney and the judge stopped me even before I got started. I hired Dan in July of 2016. Here we are almost a year later and I now have 50/50 custody of my son year round. Dan will do what he promises, He will do his best to keep costs down. His staff is wonderful to work with. He is very good at letting you know what will work and what won't and having you ready for court, a deposition, mediation and a parenting evaluation! Thank you Dan for what you helped me accomplish. Do yourself a HUGE favor and hire Dan for a divorce or custody modification! I wish I had Dan Hardee during my divorce, I would be money ahead! Dan is different from the rest. He is honest and truly cares about his clients and the outcomes of their cases. Dan has been very honest with our family in regards as what to expect throughout litigation, even when the truth isn't what you want to hear. Dan is extremely dedicated and invested. He is more than just an attorney. He is also very skilled and knowledgeable. We had a very complicated case, involving jurisdictional issues. He went above and beyond, helping us locate a qualified attorney in Oregon and assisting her from afar in regards to the case filed in Idaho. When the Oregon courts determined that the case belonged in Idaho, Dan was quick to update himself with the details and promptly filed temporary papers with the Idaho courts. Dan won't make you promises he can't keep, but he will give it to you straight and assist you in making decisions that make sense. All the other comments are dumbfounding to me as I saw NONE of it. Dan wrote up my decree and left everything so ambiguous it has kept my ex and I in court every single year since the divorce was finalized. He did not do anything to protect the minors, only his and future attorneys job security by providing ample room to argue just about every little thing. There is so much wiggle room for my ex, there is now no accountability for even basic parental care! He's a MORMON so I expected him to be ethical. He wasn't. I hope and pray his God judges him with the same framework and bias he has guided the Idaho court system. I want him to know he has deeply hurt the children of divorce and caused so much unnecessary strain on them through his neglect and poor legal writing skills. Shame on you, Dan!

Combined, my husband and I have been through 4 family attorneys, 3 divorces, and 4 divorce modifications and were never as pleased with our counsel as we have been with Dan. I could not have found a better lawyer. I started my child custody battle with a different lawyer at first & it was going terrible.
