I've been working with Dan now for almost a year on my divorce case. He has been very professional and easy to work with. When I told Dan about my negative experiences with family law attorneys, he told me that he'd like to restore my faith in attorneys... which I would say he has done. I feel that I can trust he has mine and my daughter's best interest in mind, and will advocate for what's in our best interest. He has honest and up front about the reality of various situations and I have greatly appreciated his support through this process.

Dan Hardee has been my legal counselor for going on three years now. To say he has done an excellent job is an understatement. I have consistently been provided straightforward, sound, and practical legal advice. He values honesty and is truly invested in his clients. Dan is both knowledgeable and experienced which has been evident through the various issues he has helped me navigate regarding changing the custody arrangement for my child. The results of my custody case due to his guidance and expertise was better than satisfactory. My child's life is forever changed for the better. I now have the majority of time with my child and can provide the stability he deserves.
Additionally, Brandi (Dan's paralegal), was also instrumental through my custody case. She delivered timely responses and information or documentation. Brandi is organized and accurate in her work. Working with Dan, Brandi and Team has been a pleasure. I would highly recommend their services.

Dan and his team exceeded expectations in every way. They were quick to respond to emails or meet in person as needed. We appreciated Dan’s honesty, integrity, work ethic, and genuine concern for what was best for the kids. His experience and insight into judges, opposing counsels, and mediators were invaluable. He also didn’t try to rack up billable hours. Where it made sense for us to draft documents, Dan provided us with templates and his assistant Brandi edited them, thereby saving us money. However, when things were crucial and required Dan’s expertise, he provided it. Dan understands trial is expensive, and encouraged us to settle our case outside of court if at all possible. Dan’s paralegal Brandi is incredible. She’s dedicated to her job, committed to performing it with excellence, and always remains calm. Dan is different from the rest. He is honest and truly cares about his clients and the outcomes of their cases. Dan has been very honest with our family in regards as what to expect throughout litigation, even when the truth isn't what you want to hear. Dan is extremely dedicated and invested. He is more than just an attorney. He is also very skilled and knowledgeable. We had a very complicated case, involving jurisdictional issues. He went above and beyond, helping us locate a qualified attorney in Oregon and assisting her from afar in regards to the case filed in Idaho. When the Oregon courts determined that the case belonged in Idaho, Dan was quick to update himself with the details and promptly filed temporary papers with the Idaho courts. Dan won't make you promises he can't keep, but he will give it to you straight and assist you in making decisions that make sense. We've never regretted choosing him to represent us and have recommended his services to family and friends.

I came to Dan with very little hope due to a previous attorney. Dan was always 100% honest with me and was not afraid to be blunt when I needed it. Emotions can easily take over and cause you to make the wrong decisions when it comes to your child. After trying to settle a difficult divorce, Dan Hardee was recommended to me by a therapist. In a short period of time, he accomplished what two other attorneys couldn't tackle and settled the case. We had a very unique situation with a custody case where my husband's ex-wife was trying to take his son out of the country. It was a very long case but Dan and his staff was patient and understanding. Dan and Brandi did a lot of research for our case and when it was time for our trial was extremely prepared. I have to admit that the reviews on this site plus a personal consultation with Mr. Hardee is what lead me to retain him for a custody case I was pursuing. I am more than pleased with how Mr. Hardee handled my case and consider hiring his services as one of the best investments I've ever made. All the other comments are dumbfounding to me as I saw NONE of it. Dan wrote up my decree and left everything so ambiguous it has kept my ex and I in court every single year since the divorce was finalized. He did not do anything to protect the minors, only his and future attorneys job security by providing ample room to argue just about every little thing. There is so much wiggle room for my ex, there is now no accountability for even basic parental care! He's a MORMON so I expected him to be ethical. He wasn't. I hope and pray his God judges him with the same framework and bias he has guided the Idaho court system. I want him to know he has deeply hurt the children of divorce and caused so much unnecessary strain on them through his neglect and poor legal writing skills. Shame on you, Dan!

Dan Hardee was referred to me during a time of great need. I found myself in the midst of a very contentious modification situation and really needed someone I could trust and someone who could really fight for what was best for my children. Dan was always upfront, communicative, responsive, knew the law, played fair, and really fought for what was best for my kids. Family law is a complicated process with many nuances and blind spots.
