Mr. Awad delivered more than I expected from a DUI/OWI attorney and is certainly as good as it gets. I am a medical professional who was scared about what might happen to my license and other downstream manifestations of a criminal conviction. From the moment I spoke with Mr. Awad on the phone, I knew he was who I wanted representing me. He is an excellent listener, understanding and very clearly intelligent and well read in his area of criminal defense. He is like a DUI doctor and his fees are more than reasonable.
I was pleased to find out he had my OWI and refusal offenses DISMISSED before the charges could even be laid. This news made my year and knowing I wouldn't have these charges standing between me and my medical career was an incredible relief. I am so grateful for his help and expertise and I would advise anyone, medical professional or not, to call up Mr. Awad - you'll not be disappointed!

Excellent attorney. I hired Mr. Awad for a case in Northern MI. He was very professional throughout the duration of my case. He also took a personal interest in our mutual goals in regard to the case. He was always available to answer any questions I had. I was also very pleased with the outcome of the case. It was very favorable. Truly a Five Star Attorney. I would definitely recommend Mr. Awad to anyone.

Attorney Joe Awad is amazing! He helped me with a dui second offense case. He got my sentencing reduced dramatically by talking with the judge before the judge decided to go with what the prosecution recommended. The judge listened and had leniency on me and I was very grateful. He also helped me with my license appeal hearing due to the above mentioned case. He prepared me for the hearing and made sure we had all the proper documents and evidence needed to support my case and we won! The hearing officer made a decision on the spot (which is not very common) to grant me my license back. I still have certain guidelines that I must follow and I will have to go back in a year to prove my case (for the last time) in order to get all restrictions removed and I will definitely be calling Attorney Joe Awad when we closer to that time. He also works with me with my payments which I also greatly appreciated. If you are in need of an attorney call Joe...trust me he's worth every penny!!!!

I would recommend Joe to any of my family and friends that were in need of a good attorney. He was professional, knowledgeable and reliable. He even cut his family vacation short to make one of my court appointments so we did not have reschedule. His experience really paid off in helping me get my life back. He is worth every penny of his fee!

I cannot thank you enough for the time and attention you put into my DUI case, your attention to detail while revieving the video tape of the stop as well as your obvious years of experience in the court room saved my lively hood as well as my future success from what could have been a major set back for my life, one stupid decision that I could'nt take back! I highly recommend Joseph Awad after my experience with him. Joseph is extremely knowledgable of the law and will find any technacality that will help your case. When it looked like I was going to loose my ability to drive for a year Jospeph got me back on the road and saved my job. Thanks to Jospeh my life is now back on track and I'm able to move forward from what looked like a devastating situation. I recommend Mr. Awad highly. I'm not sure what the reviewer dated 2007 is referring to in the claims of Mr. Awad's "connections", "promises", or misinformation. To the contrary, I found Joseph to be exceedingly honest and forthright. He explained all my options at every step of my process, and his deep knowledge of OWI law allowed a defense that dismissed all alcohol-related charges for a plea to careless driving (3 pts on license and $200 fine). Above all, his advice was from the heart rather than his wallet, and he helped calm me and put my charges in perspective-- both for now, and for life writ large. Joseph was exceptional, and I would've paid twice the price for the bulldog mentality with which he fought for me. Again, strongly, strongly recommend.

He makes large promises that he can't back up. He doesn't much about the law. He didn't even know the difference between sobreity court and probation. He claims to have connections with judges that he doesn't.
