Agreed to do some straightforward work and never did a thing. Only communicated when he once apologized for not getting to the job. Never returns emails or calls.

Represented my mother and was horrible. Sounds good and fair in court but doesn't know the background and facts and misrepresents himself, (at times appears to be openly lying). I am primaily upset because instead of expiditing my mom's case he continued to drag it on and on and milk her for her money. I have not submitted other ratings. I feel hatred toward the man.

Elliot has issues with being truthful and seems to be rating himself again. Find someone else who actually does what they say they will. He does not come through. Not someone I would ever want to use again nor would I recommend him. He does not earn his pay nor are his billing practices fair. If he was mechanic he would return your car to you running on only one cylinder and you would have better recourse.

I have known Eliot Lippman for many years and am so impressed by his compassion for his clients, his expertise, and most of all, his integrity. I would recommend him without reservation.

This attorney taught me that when you hire a lawyer make sure he has integrity first. Unfortunately hiring him was a huge costly mistake. Thousands of dollars later I learned the hard way. Car mechanics only get paid if they fix your car. How come an attorney can do a horrific sloppy job where you loose thousands of dollars and still get paid? He cares more about maintaining his relationship with a judge than about earning his pay and fighting for his client. He did not earn what he charged and used creative billing.

This attorney is he worst... If you want an attorney that doesn't communicate to you until the very last moment on important issues and then please do not hire him.

He is very nervous and extremely weak in court and better suited for drawing up wills and office work. He invoices everything at his fee (thousands of dollars or charges) instead of charging for administrative work at an admin rate. A charges for reviewing your case and then gets to court and can't remember important facts. Just plan scary to work with.

Yeah, I too am confused by the bad ratings for Eliot. We've known Eliot for many years. He's our estate attorney. He's very knowledgeable. His follow-through is excellent. He turned around some complicated work for us quickly, at a reasonable cost. Also, the Marin County Superior Court judges respect him, so that must count for something.

I don't know what the beef is with Eliot (perhaps a personality clash or miscommunication?) I have found him extremely knowledgeable and ahead of the curve. His education at Hastings sure shows through. He has been extremely helpful in guiding me through the legal mess left by my mother.

I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone. He is not helpful, logical, or reasonable. Run, don't walk.

I wish I had never ever hired this man. I do not feel he had my best interests in mind. He did very little considering the large amount of money I paid him. He does not communicate well or listen to his clients wishes or read over his own notes that he charges you to make in the first place.
