Lloyd Mankes did a good job in the beginning. He resolved the case in 3 months. After trying unsuccessfully to obtain early termination of probationI due to my restitution not being fully paid up, I asked Lloyd Mankes to help me get early termination. I told him I would be able to obtain the needed funds to both pay him and pay off my restitution. He told me not to pay my restitution because he could get me early termination of probation without having to pay the balance of my restitution. I paid him in June 09 but we never got to court until Sep 09. The judge denied the Motion to terminate proabtion because I was not paid up. Mankes promised to file an Agreed Motion to terminate after I paid the money. he never did. I filed for myself Sep 19, 09 and the judge granted early termination Sep 23, 09. I asked for 50\% of my deposit back. Mankes agreed but I never received it.

At my first calender call Lloyd did not show up. On this morning, after repeated calls to his firm, (and a lot of freaking out) his assitant explained to me that someone else was going to be there to represent me, because he was in another court that morning. A lawyer from his firm did eventually show up to represent me. It was later explained to me that I did not even have to be there that day. Lloyd was able to get my case continued, as I asked, while I got past issues resolved. However, prior to my jury trial I repeatedly called and left messages at his firm asking to call me and give me an idea what to expect at the trial. I never did get a call back from him, but his assitant told me he would be there the morning of my trial to discuss any questions I had. He never showed up, but instead, again, sent someone else from his firm, whom had no knowledge of my case.
