He was my ex-wife's attorney, not mine, but when both sides are unhappy with an attorney, something is wrong. I think what the man did ought to be criminal, and my ex and her parents feel that he took advantage of her. He advised her to do things that increased animosity, mostly having to do with keeping my son away from me as much as possible (I was still dealing 2 years later with the emotional damage inflicted on my son by having him kept away from me). He wrote libelous letters to my attorney about me. He encouraged my ex not to negotiate anything with me, insisting that the vast majority of communication needed to go via him (I presume this was to generate more billable hours for himself). He billed her about 25k, ate up nearly a year of our time, and then withdrew before our second mediation session. Virtually none of the reams of paper he produced were useful in settling the case, which her second attorney managed to help with in a couple of months. Stay away. Stay far away.
