I found this page while looking for Aarons phone number. He did a very professional job handling my divorce 4 years ago. I will use him again to adjust my support obligation, as things have changed economically. I would recommend Aaron to other professionals that have a lot at stake financially and want fair outcome for their families.

Aaron at Dishon and Block has represented me in court on a number of occasions against my spouses very aggressive attorney. Aaron fought to the fullest in a professional manner. I am grateful to have had Aaron on my side. His knowledge of the courts and legal system coupled with his experience makes him an incredible attorney. While he could not guarantee any outcomes, essentially everything he predicted would happen, did. Aaron came in on a weekend to meet with me, made early/late phone calls etc. to make sure my questions and issues were addressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Dishon and Block for a second. They are a very competent family law firm.

February 14, 2012 Aaron is in the process of handling my divorce proceeding. From the first contact through to present, I have been hugely impressed with Aaron in every way, as have my friends who have consulted him. Aaron has an exceptional level of ability and expertise, he communicates extremely well, and in a way that is easy to relate to. Considering the top notch level of service rendered, the fees charged are absolutely reasonable, and Aaron has been generous with his time on numerous occasions.

Aaron came highly recommended from a family member and quickly exceeded all expectations. He provided in-depth information on California Family Law and insisted I learn it. This was the key to his ability to quickly and efficiently handle my case. Aaron is highly respected in court and quickly dispatched the "pit bull" attorney of my ex-wife. Aaron is highly compassionate and worked out a fair settlement after my ex-wife's attorney excused himself from the case. He worked with both of us to get the divorce done quickly. Aaron was constantly contacting me to ensure that I was okay. We still contact each other on a weekly basis, and I have referred more than 5 friends to him. Aaron is a very respectable person and a friend. I do not believe there is a finer divorce and family attorney anywhere.

Aaron Dishons representation was superb. He worked extremely hard for me from start to finish, clearly explaining the reasons for every step. His legal advice was spot-on, and he was able to accurately predict issues ahead of time, saving me time, money, and aggravation. Aaron's note taking, organization, dedication to his clients, and overall expertise with the law made the entire divorce process much more tolerable. Despite the complexities of my case, the divorce proceedings took only 9 months to complete. This is solely due to Aaron's knowledge, work habits, tenacity, and overall skill set. Friends and colleagues who have gone through divorce have commented they wish they had Aaron as their attorney, given their knowledge of my experience with him. My divorce has been the most difficult time in my life. My divorce went all the way to a mandatory settlement conference. During each step, Aaron told me the goals and direction. He was professional in court and impressed the judge. My outcome was better than I had hoped due to Aaron's research and diligence. Aaron helped me understand the legal documents and what steps to take in the future for modification when or if I needed it. Aaron responded quickly to my requests and question, and always helped. If you need an attorney for your divorce, I would recommend Aaron. I tried to go through the divorce without an attorney to avoid the cost and it turned into a fight. I needed representation and was luck to find Aaron.

I found this firm through good online reviews. They negotiated a settlement and advised me to take it where I paid close to $150,000 to my ex. Being totally inexperienced, I didn't know to question it. Lucky for me, they dragged their feet in getting the papers drafted, so in the interim I stumbled onto an attorney friend who recommended I get a second opinion because things sounded "off". I went to another attorney who looked at my numbers with puzzlement and pretty much promised he could do a lot better. Since I had not ever received anything to sign, I let the new attorney do his thing. In the end, I would up paying about $70,000. In all fairness, Dishon and Block refunded about $3000 of my fees when I complained about how bad their original advice was. This was over four years ago, so the exact figures are from memory, but they are not far off. The first number might be closer to $160,000, come to think of it.

In this day in age when attorneys are branded as cynical and callous, I am pleased to say that Carrie conducted herself with dignity and integrity. Ms. Carrie Block of Dishon and Block was assigned to our case after we have signed up with Aaron Dishon. Our case was to reduce spousal support and it took almost 2 years. Follow-up on schedules and deadlines given to opposing atty. was not there - We hace to notify her of the past deadlines. It seemed that she was not looking after my best interest - but the billable hours kept on increasing. We pointed out mistakes in her briefs and got billed for correcting them, etc. We spent approx. $40K to $50K and did not get the spousal support reduced to $0 even though she said that we have an excellent chance of getting it to $0. As soon as our case was closed - we immediately terminated their services and am not recommending them.

Mr. Dishon was my second lawyer for my divorce. My first lawyer was not getting the job done. When I retained Mr. Dishon his work quality from day one was impecable. He personally returned all of my phone calls and was very focused on every question or concern I had. What impressed me the most was his ability to make things happen. Needless to say my divorce which was taking forever to settle with my first lawyer was settled within 3 months of hire thanks to Mr. Dishon. From the time I hired Aaron, and throughout his representation of me, I had every confidence that he would achieve the best possible result for me and he lived up to that expectation. This law firm was all about money. I had a question to ask Carrie Block but couldn't get through to her because I owed a very limited amount of money. I was unaware of my balance until I called to ask her a question when they directed my call to Fernando who only cared about collecting the funds plus another retainer to answer my question. This firm is very unprofessional and uses money against their clients!! Please be aware that money is all that they care about!!

As with any divorce, and subsequent issues around the children, there is a lot of fear, emotion and "gray area". Aaron, Wendy and Charlotte's efforts and diligent work enabled me to in recover the HELOC funds. I continue to be impressed with each them and the firm. All three of them are caring, warm and compassionate. Aaron was brilliant with the Judge. He stayed calm and on point.

Aaron Dishon is completely unprepared when going to court. Aaron never returns phone calls, and shows up hours late for a meeting, then bills you for the time you were waiting. He is easily intimidated by opposing counsel and often negotiates in opposing counsel’s favor. Aaron pushes clients to do 730 evaluations and forensic accounting so he can bill as many hours as possible. I have since hired a new lawyer and have had quick resolution to child custody issue that even after 3 years Aaron could not seem to negotiate. Mr. Dishon bills for hours of work never done and delays responses so that he then can bill for court time. Aaron Dishon continually agrees to opposing counsels requests without discussing with the client. Mr. Dishon clearly tries to negotiate all maters in closed chambers so you have no idea what is happening. Beware of this attorney! Do not hire him!
