Brad is very well respected in the legal community. He really fights for his clients in a very professional way. I would certainly recommend him to someone in need.

Brad and his team were responsive, professional, and supportive during a very difficult time. I felt confident that they had my best interest in mind. I have heard nightmare stories from people about their attorney's and how they "got screwed." Brad is very client focused and he makes sure you are comfortable with the final outcome. Brad and Rachel both present very well in court. They were well prepared and confident. Overall, a very good experience considering the circumstances. They were the most costly but I feel I got what I paid for.

TOP NOTCH!When I hired Brad Micklin I was scared and in the dark, Brad immediatly took action rendering the adversary "powerless" while exposing sneaky deeds going on without my knowledge. We prevailed at Show of Cause and my assets are finally secure and I now have "legs to stand on". I recommend hiring Brad Micklin if you are being cheated, pushed around and want to WIN! Conley Parker

I hire this lawyer to help me fixed my post judgement settlement on my divorce,Brad is bad lawyer he never return phone calls and he will ruin you financially, his secretary will always threaten you for money if your late 2 days of your bill, and non-stop harrassment for payment. It takes 3 months for him to complete and file a motion in court, and I spent $16,000 for 1 motion in court which he didn't do anything in court he was quiet and not aggressive enough,I regret hiring him,now i'm broke and my divorce problem is the same."Don't Hire this Lawyer You will Be sorry ". He billed you ewvery 2 weeks, Brad Billed me $2,500 every 2 weeks for more than 3 months, and if your late even for 3 days he;s secretary will threaten you that they will not go to court if you dont pay first. To file a motion in court cost only $1600 but I spent $16,000 + and keep delaying so they can make more money from you. I had 3 lawyer ,Brad is the worst lawyer ever."Don't recomend" He"s a waste of time & money.

I just finished working with Brad and his firm for my parent's will, POA, and healthcare directive. Brad went above and beyond to help my parents, even with a simple matter. Furthermore, Brad always replied to any question within minutes. For any estate, family, or divorce matters, I highly recommend The Micklin Law Group.

My husband and I worked with Brad Micklin to review and update our estate planning. Brad and his team are professional, knowledgeable and customer focused. They took the time to answer our questions and completed everything in a timely matter. We have some upcoming legal needs and will turn to Brad to support us with those as well.

Brad in a word OUTSTANDING, he is always there when we need him, he is currently handling several matters for us, and each is handled throughly with attention to detail and true professionalism. Brad is accessible 7 days a week, and his response to calls and text messages is truly amazing. We find that Brad has an excellent grasp of your case information, both in the written and oral aspects. He treats us with candor and yet sincerity. We would highly recommend Brad if you are looking to be represented by an attorney who will do it well and treat you like you are his only client.

This was the worst decision I have made by hiring this attorney. It was impossible to communicate with this attorney even after spending thousands of dollars in fees. Never returns phone calls and never kept me informed as to what was happening with me case. The only thing that was consistent were the charges that I was being billed for every 2 weeks! (The office changed the billing policy after I had retained his services to bill clients every 2 weeks). This was supposed to be helpful to his clients. All it did was put an enormous financial burden on me. The amount this attorney quoted me for handling my case was almost doubled within weeks and my case in my opinion was not handled with the tenacity and diligence that one would expect from an attorney.

Over the last 2-3 years, I've directed a couple close friends to Brad Micklin's services. Because his team is fairly small, there's an inherent sense of attention to detail. I've found that having good record of your case readily accessible, has helped Brad's team tremendously in working towards my objective. I often wonder to myself, where does he find the time? -- as I'm certain I'm not his only client! Brad is attentive & responsive. On very few occasions, if I haven't received a response in a while, I presume he's devoting the same level of courtesy to other clients. With a little patience, eventually he comes through nonetheless. Other times I've contacted Brad, genuinely not expecting to hear back until the next day, and he has surprisingly made the time to respond. I've posted 4's in most of the rating categories, simply to encourage Brad's team to continue evaluating areas of their practice with notable room-for-improvement.

Brad handled my recently-completed divorce proceedings. Throughout my dealings with him, Brad was attentive to my needs and concerns. He was always patient with my questions, always taking the time to answer them thoroughly. Beyond that, he was available day or night, even going the extra step of having a separate private cell phone for clients only.
Brad was understanding and exceptionally thorough in the dealings with both me and the case. At the trial, he was perfectly prepared and presented, a testament to his years of experience. He never got rattled, was composed and always spoke with the utmost confidence. Brad had his strategy and stuck to it – much to my pleasure. He knew exactly what questions to ask and how to ask them, in my opinion running circles around the defense. If you are in need of an exceptionally qualified practitioner of family law, you will not find one better than Brad Micklin.

I am very pleased with Brad and his team and would highly recommend his services. I have been through a bitter child support battle with my ex but Brad and his team have been very supportive and successful in obtaining favorable results. During my most recent hearing, the judge said that while he did not normally award legal fees in child support cases, my case was unique- the judge went on to even commend Brad and his team. I can't thank Brad's office enough for always being available- even on a few late evenings- to assure me that everything was being taken care of.

I hired Brad because my ex was taking me to court. He wanted to have his child support lowered. My ex owed me back child support and for medical bills. I have used other lawyers in the past and never have I met an attorney like Brad. When I first sat down to explain everything to him he listened and didn't rush me out of his office. He told me if I had any questions to call him at any time and he meant it. Whenever I called him he answered the phone. His paralegal Jacqueline was just as wonderful. I was updated every step of the way as to what was going on with my case. Jacqueline e-mailed every time with information reguarding my case. I was absolutely satisfied with the outcome. I would highly recommend Brad. I will definitely use Brad in the future.

Brad and his team are absolutely fantastic. He has represented me twice and both times with terrific outcomes. First, by thwarting a plot to modify my limited duration alimony obligation and second to make it permanent. This was a death sentence to me. His ability to anticipate the opposition then deliver solid results to his clients is why I can enthusiastically recommend him. He and his paralegal are worth every last cent. Whatever the need, Brad will get you there. You cannot have better representation in my opinion. I am a client for life.

Brad Micklin is a salesman, not an Attorney. Once you sign with him, communication is only through creptic emails. His office staff of one sends documents to the Court with spelling errors and poor grammar. You pay for a custom job, but only receive an off the rack product. Brad Micklin is a nice guy but a poor at best Attorney. Please be careful. I went for a second opinion when I felt my case was going nowhere. It was pointed out that Mr. Micklin's lack of knowledge and the way he presented to the Court was not going to get me a win. I changed Attorneys and came to a positive outcome. I wasted thousands of dollars with Mr. Micklin.

Brad was fabulous and continues to be. He did a tremendous job at trial and got the end results we had hoped. I've been in Court for over 15 yrs (with other attorneys) 'fighting' my X to do what's best for our child. Brad was my last hope and he came through. He worked hard and long on my case and kept me posted every step of the way. He also has an excellent paralegal - they're a great team! He is calm and kind but when it comes to Court - he was prepared and ready to win. He's fantastic. I was so impressed with his knowledge and tactics. I recommend hiring Brad.

I am one of Mr.Micklin's oldest clients. I have great confidence in his ability to reprsent me. He has helped me out when I was in financial hardship and did not charge me when I was in need of his services. He always found great patience with me and would answer all of my questions no matter how many times I would repeat them. Mr. Micklin is a fine lawyer and I would recommend him.

I looked for an attorney who was local and who could get my Will done. I came across Mr. Micklin who was located in Nutley, when I met with him, he was knowledgeable about the law and took his time answering my questions. I had a free consultation and I thought he would cut me off after 30 minutes, as other attorneys had, but he stayed with me as long as I needed, he answered all of my questions, he was personable, articulate, patient and knew what he was talking about. I knew he was expensive but I also know that you get what you pay for and I needed the best, so I paid for the best and the best I got. The Will, the Living Will & the Power of Attorney were very well written and ready to be signed in less than 2 weeks. Later I went back for some minor changes of my own, which were done quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Brad Micklin to anyone who needs legal help. He is honest, empathic and gets the job done.

Brad is a very knowledgable and accomplished Attorney in all areas of Family Law including Estate planning. My wife and I have been using Brad as our Attorney for many years and recently employed his services for the most important issues in our lives to date, planning our Estate and Wills as we have just had our first child. Brad has been very professional, responsive and extremely helpful in guiding us to make these very important and difficult decisions. Brad is certainly not the cheapest Lawyer in New Jersey, thankfully! He is inexpensive in correlation with the quality of service he provides. You get what you pay for with almost all things, and when it comes to professional services, especally Lawyer's, this is one place you don't want to be cheap. Value is the goal, getting the best possible service for a fair fee and that is what Brad Micklin provides for us. I hope this is helpful for anyone shopping for a great Lawyer. We will retain Brad again and again.

My wife and I were in a custody case with Micklin as our Lawyer. First to explain, we live in California so there were many expected delays. However to spend almost 10k on a case and for it to go nowhere is unacceptable. To date we dropped the custody case but stumbled on an issue with the child support payments. Their office suggested we send child support payments to their father which we did and then got levied when he didn't acknowledge payment. So New Jersey state levied our wages and tax refund twice for a single amount. Of course this whole time Brad charged us to get the money returned. To this day we have only received a portion of the money wrongfully taken. We understand lawyers are expensive but if there are no results there are no results. Brad Micklin hardly engaged with us, charged us absorbent fees and we have nothing to show for it but a huge chunk of our savings missing.

I am an officer and dentist in the Air Force. When I received a surpise notice of a visitation and custody hearing, I was, at the same time: Moving, outprocessing form my duty station, and acquiring a new job. Brad Micklin helped me out when no else could. After all was said and done I got joint legal custody and a very good visitation schedule with my son. He did a great job. Thanks Brad.

I am a Police Officer for Essex County New Jersey. Back in February of 2000 I was having a custody battle with my 5 year old child's mother who was moving out of the State. I needed a lawyer who specialized on domestic issues in a fair, oriented and impartial manner. Brad Micklin represented me and helped me get joint custody, reduce child support and dropped all false charges thrown at by the child's mom. I am living proof that if not for Mr Brad Micklin I would not be employed as a Police Officer today.

Horrible. Very disappointing. The most expensive lawyer in NJ and the quality of work does not correlate with the amount he charges. He should be ashamed of himself and he should be disbarred. He is a waste of money, emotion, and energy. As soon as he is done with my case, I plan on suing him for excessive billing.
