Charges a lot of money. Takes on more cases that she can handle which decreases her effectiveness. Is much too timid in court and does not agressively fight for her client. Is a nice person, but not suited to her profession. She should have remained a paralegal.

I was looking for Sandra on the Internet to refer to a friend. sandra handled my divorce, saved my ex and I a lot of money by offering us the opportunity to communicate and negotiate what was fair and reasonable. We were both very angry and hurt people when it came time to end our marriage. Sandra seemed to work out a system of division that would also bring long term satisfaction after the anger would subside so that neither of us would feel screwed 5 years later.

When I read the reviews of this attorney, I think it tells me more about the nature of family law than anything I recognize about Ms. Mayberry. In my more than three decades of working in and around courthouses as a journalist, I have never met any lawyer who was as universally admired as Sandra. In fact, it was a public interest lawyer who directed me to Ms. Mayberry when I mistakenly went to them for divorce advice. "You need your own lawyer,'' they told me, "and you should see Sandra Mayberry.'' She handled my case quickly, didn't do needless posturing about toughness and fight. She sought quick resolutions that were fair and attainable. Since she worked on my case, I've sent her a number of referrals, all of whom thank me to this day for having diverted them from the expensive divorce mills that thrive on stoking conflict needlessly. Divorce is, by definition, a breakdown and always messy to a degree. Ms.Mayberry does all she can to clean it up. I can't recommend her more highly.

I amde the greatest mistake hiring this incompetent wimp of a woman to be my lawyer.My mentally unstable ex decided to take my son an a completely unnecessary overseas trip where he would miss 10 days of school,and be exposed to hazardous conditions.This woman did nothing,did not go to the exparte hearing,did not answer my calls and now I've had to give my son up to the crazy ex for that dangerous trip.God deal with this woman for what she did to me.She also charged me an arm and a leg for that service.

Sandra takes on more cases than she can handle at once. Because of this, she ended up dropping the ball BIG TIME in my case and cost me a lot of money. She's generally a nice person, but has a hard time admitting when she's made a mistake. She's full of excuses for her mistakes, oversights inability to get things done in a timely manner. She's extremely timid in the courtroom and has no fight in her whatsoever. She's so worried about appearances & courtroom etiquette that she often misses key opportunities to support her arguments. If you need a "pit bull" fighting your case, don't hire this "lap-dog" to represent you. You'll pay her a lot of money and will end up settling for less than you deserve. As for being knowledgeable, I beg to differ. I had to research case law and steer her in the right direction regarding several aspects of my case.
