i One star too much, I discussed my case with the receptionist by the glass door, I am suing a person and that person suing me so I have a case as plaintiff and one as defendant. she said $1000 I paid her with my credit card, she said we will assign a lawyer for you, he will see you one week before your case's date also we will contact the court to combined both cases into one, I received two court notices for two different cases one for each case, I called the office she said don't go to court with the case as plaintiff we already combined both cases so we will go the second court date which is as defendant. I have hard time reach or meet the attorney he doesn't have time, he wants me to discuss my case on the phone, finally I met him he is very rude doesn't give a chance to talk, he wants to hear him self only, we went to court the defendant never showed up case was dismissed same time judge said why you suing each other and you don't show up in court, I found out that my case as pl

Bhatt Law Group got my divorce complaint dismissed because they missed an important court date, even after I told them the date was approaching. I had to go to court myself to figure out what happened. Jay Bhatt won't return my calls. The firm billed me for services not rendered. Sean Boyle lied to me repeatedly and has NO strategy. he hasn't even met with me (only been to court once and he didnt show up). Two years later, I'm still not divorced. Child support through the roof. No job. Haven't seen my kids in 5 months. And lawyers who talk to me like I'm a child and bothering them. They also try not to put anything in writing, because they know they are facing potential Bar Assn. complaints. Email me for evidence. I have tons of emails and documents. Watch out!!!

this law office is the worst service ive ever had. they don't contact you they don't respond to emails ,phone calls, or texts. they definitely are quick to take your money. the last time I wrote a bad review they called the next morning and quickly resolved the issue at hand so I would change my reviews. and here we are with the same case with the same issue sean doyle nor anyone at the office ever reurns communication. we are in florida and have a hearing on 11/17/2017 and have sent emails, cleft voice mails, and sent texts and have had noresponse from them. in my eyes this law firm is nothing more than a licensed thief. its been a year and supposedly sean doyle is waiting for a document from the courts. 1 YEAR LATER! please, they just wanted to take the money and do nothing . Stay as far away from this firm as you can if you want legal representation!!

Stay away from these people if you are facing any criminal charges!! Worst law group I've encountered in my life. Totally no communication,once they make you pay up front you will never hear from them again untill time of court. And the guy they chose to represented us,showed up 30minutes late!!I don't know what these ratings are about here on the web , 4and5 stars??? Are you kidding me.They are rating themselves.My friend was represented by this group &they assigned Paul to him. He accused and call my friend guilty and told him he should take a lie detector test to prove himself,are you kidding me????You are paid 2 defend not join in and prosecute people.Save your money and go 2 another group and stay away from money hungry bhat.The office in Jersey city is a dump located in a corner on a side street. I live in Cali and ended up getting a ticket during my visit to Jersey. It was a bit disconcerting at first hiring an attorney that is thousands of miles away. Anyhow, I am very glad that I called Jay Bhatt's law firm and trusted their expertise. Whatever system they have developed for communication is by far the best that I have experienced when it comes to law firms. I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to my license and the staff was very patient, understanding, and available to answer all my questions. The only thing I hope for is that they share their secret sauce with attorneys in Cali. Great job fellas.

I highly recommend Jay Bhatt and his firm of attorneys to anyone in need of legal help. Unlike other law offices, they charge reasonable retainer fees and don't just look to pocket your money. The office itself is beautiful and makes all clients feel welcome and comfortable. My legal issue was resolved with a terrific resolution that I didn't think would be possible, however, I was told that they were going to push hard for what they promised. The way my case was resolved was better than I ever expected as another lawyer I had retained for the same matter DROPPED my case and said there would not be any chance to resolve the case well. Needless to say, I was furious with the other firm, but THANKFULLY, everything worked out so well at Jay Bhatt's firm. I recommend this firm to anyone in need good representation!

My first experience with lawyer Jay Bhatt and i'm very impressed with the service I received from him. They have a really good system set up. My previous lawyer was very hard to reach, which is problem with most lawyers. With Bhatt Law Group, I was always able to reach a lawyer or paralegal to help with any questions. They kept me updated on my case so I know what was going on from start to finish. Very good lawyer.

Jay Bhatt is a great and knowledgeable attorney! I was referred by a good friend who had hired him to assist him in a matter of his. I felt that I was wrongly issued 3 tickets by an officer in my home town. I feel my driving is pretty good with a clean record and this incident left me really angry. I felt very confident in Mr. bhatts ability after we spoke on the phone. His office communicated with me throughout the process and were able to get the court to work with my busy schedule. I spoke to Mr. Bhatt again a few days before going to court where we discussed our strategy. On the day of court, we met and I could tell that he's very familiar with the court - the court personnel all greeted him by first name and that was very reassuring. He helped me resolve my case and the results were exactly what we had discussed during our initial consultation. I'm very grateful for his help and would recommend him to anyone that needs an lawyer.

I would tell anyone to use this law office for their case. They have taken care of my traffic case and done a great job for my niece's divorce. The attorneys are very nice and actually take the time to listen and understand your issues. I had the chance to talk to another client in the waiting room and they also expressed to me a similar sentiment. It's rare to find a great law firm nowadays and these guys deserve the credit.

The law firm was nothing short of amazing today. I just happened to stumble upon the office when I had to appear in court for two traffic violations today. I had an hour before court was scheduled to start so I came to them for information and walked out in awe. Joy, the office assistant was very courteous, helpful and informative. She gave me several options and helped me navigate the process. She went above and beyond her role. Jay came out to check on me to be sure that I was being taken care of. He is very hands on and also extended himself. Chris represented me in the courtroom, but not before taking his time to get the details of the case and making sure that I knew all my options. He was funny, thoughtful and well informed. Ultimately he worked his magic and I received an outcome that was more favorable than what I ever imagined. I am physically disabled and receiving only SSI. Had car accident just recently. I was driving thru a green light when another vehicle hit me from the driver side. My car was totalled and I ended up in the hospital. They took my car to a private garage and charged me almost a thousand from the days that was parked there. I begged them to give me a break or at least if i could pay them in an installment plan. But they said NO. I was treathened that if i dont pay them that they will report me to the police and they will revoked my driver's licensed. When i first spoked to Mr. Bhatt, he is friendly. Unlike other lawyers, Mr. Bhatt explained it to me in details what i want to know, and the payment was installment plan. Thank you Mr. Jay D. Bhatt for the support, assistance you have given me. It was the lowest time of my life, but you, and your staff where there to help me.

This is a very helpful office and a great staff. I've had multiple tickets they have done for me and they are always helpful. I wouldn't pay much attention to the negative comments because these guys do 100 plus tickets every week, so if all satisfied clients posted reviews they would have thousands. Anyways, I always recommend them to friends and family. Judge for yourself.

Used this firm in 3 different cases. 2 traffic tickets("Careless Driving") - had an epileptic seizure while standing and waiting for the light to turn green... police was called and tickets were issued in both cases, they reported me to MVC and Suspension followed . And also used them in My License Suspension Hearing in Trenton... The attorney assigned to me was "Chris..." - totaly unprepared and incompetent. When I was talking to Jay on the phone before signing up with them was promised and explained one thing... but in reality it turned out to be a lot of hot air... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! There are a lot more competent and knowledgable Lawyers out there...

they are BAD..ipayed the lawyer to defend me and get my ticket taken care of...instead he jus did the same thing that icould of done..pleaded giulty for 2 points for unsafe driving..A wASTE OF MONEY..when iwas on the fone with him itold him that they offered me that choice and he said "no where going to take off everything for you" instead they just pleaded me guilty when igot the attorney in the first place to plead innocent and beat the ticket. I'm just so disapointted because I am 18 and I uesd up 3 pay chechks to pay this attorney and the ticket that was not resolved and I get paid every two weeks. I dont have money like that!

I USED THIS OFFICE TO FILE MY CHAPTER 7 AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD, THE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT GOOD, BUT THE COMMUNICATION WAS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY BAD! CALLS NOT RETURNED, HE NEVER SHOWED BUT SENT A LAWYER I HAD NEVER EVEN SPOKEN TO, AND THAT LAWYER WAS MORE THAN AN HOUR LATE. I AM STILL TRYING TO GET THE RESULT OF MY CASE AND KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND....JAY SEEMS TO NEVER EVER BE AVAILABLE TO TALK...HOW COME HE'S ALWAYS IN COURT BUT WAS NOT AT MY COURT HEARING???? Great job. They did a chapter 7 bankruptcy for me. I went in for a consultation and the attorney spent time going over the process. I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered them all. Unlike other attorney that i spoke to, i did not feel pressured to proceed. The attorney reassured me that it was my personal decision to file. The day after I signed up, the attorney emailed me with my case number and court date. The process was very smooth and i would definitely recommend this office to others.

I went to Jay Bhatt to file my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. My main reason for chosing Jay was because of his payment plan. I was allowed to pay half then he would file and before I went to court I would have to pay the balance. This was very important to me as I had a garnishment against my paycheck. I needed to file to have it lifted. I will admit that Jay was difficult to get a hold of. I had to call the office several times. I even emailed. I was leary about paying him the balance until I had that court date. Even though at time Jay was unresponsive his staff was always very nice and Jay did as he said he would. The attorney that was present with me at my hiring (Jay wasn't able to go himself) did his job just fine. He was familar with my case. All in all I got what I needed and I would recommend Jay Bhatt's services to other people. My case was very simple so it really didn't require us to talk much...it would have been nice to ease my fears, but in hindsight it wasn't really needed.

To put it plain and simple, i could not have possibly picked somebody better than jay to handle my bankruptcy case.....from my first visit, i felt like i was talking to a friend helping me get out of a jam, rather than a lawyer, and this was important to me, why, cause it makes me(and prob most others) very comfortable.....jay helped me move forward in my life and feel free again, and im very thankful to him, and consider him a friend.....no need to look elsewhere for a lawyer, jay is the best.....period

I got an 8 point ticket for reckless driving and speeding. Spoke to Mr. Bhatt himself and he assured me that he could get it down to 2 points. I signed up and went to court with one of the attorneys. I was out of court with-in 25 minutes and my insurance didn't go up. Fees paid to the law offices were reasonable. What more could I have asked. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LAW OFFICE FOR ANY MATTER.

I've been to this office 3 times for cases I've needed cleared up. All 3 of my cases were old. They got 2 of the warrants pulled and had the cases resolved. I recommend them.

If they can't resolve your issue within one court date, it probably will not be resolve. Like others have said, this office is like a revolving door. They want fast and easy case they can get done in one shot. If they can't get it resolved, good luck in getting in touch with them or receiving a return call. Also they screen their calls. Lesson learned, next time will definitely use a reputable attorney.

They represented me for a speeding ticket I got in east orange. I have an extensive history of points so I was worried about my license. I met with the attorney who spoke to the prosecutor and the officer who was there. My 4 points were removed and I was out of court within 20 minutes. I would use them again if I had a ticket.

Talked to Jay about my 100 in a 55 MPH and my careless driving. At this time he continued to say not to worry about it and that it should not be a problem. During this time i tried contacting him and he did not return a call nor did any of his attorneys. I was charged $525 and my outcome was the prosecutor laughing when i told him i was waiting on my attorney i was being represented by Jay Bhatts office. He came an hour late and i lost my license for the maximum sentence. They promised me money back and the office **** would not connect me to my lawyer or Jay do to the fact they where not going to refund me any money back. THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN!!!!

I had speeding (5 points) and tailgating (5 points). This was a total of 10 points I got in Elizabeth on the Turnpike. I walked with 0 points! Seems that NJ police are desperate to write out tickets. I'm really happy with the results because my insurance would have gone up like crazy. These guys seem to know their way around court and the people there. I got to court early and met with the attorney and was the first one out on that day. The attorney was there before me and had already spoke to the court's attorney and resolved the case. I'm happy with them and recommend this office.

I went to these guys b/c I had a speeding ticket. They were extremely helpful, explained everything to me. Mr. Bhatt told me what they were going to do with my case from start to finish. I called in for my consultation and he told me I don't even have to come in which is great because I work until late so I dont waste my time. The communication with this office was fine...they contacted me when they needed something and also before my court date to explain everything. My attorney made sure to answer my questions before we get to court. The attorney that showed up to court was nice, professional and on time. The result, no points!! Im very happy with this office, theres no run around and beating around the bush. Just straight to the point. I recommend this office.

As far as I can tell, Jay Bhatt does not exist. I never met him, saw him, heard from him, or was able to speak with him on the phone. He farms everything out to 'paralegals' and the first lawyer who went to court with me literally knew less than I did. The office never calls you back, and you have to really push them to get anything. HOWEVER...one lawyer in that office was GREAT: Richard Alexander. Once I got him on my case, he was responsive and helpful, and he knows how to work the system. Eventually he got a 5 point speeding ticket reduced to ZERO points and a small fine. If you use this law office ASK FOR RICHARD ALEXANDER.

I got a ticket of "Failure to Observe Traffic Control Device" violation ( code 4-81) on 4/14/08 which was $85 fine with 2 points penalty. I consulted Mr. Bhatt to resolved the case and the contract was they will reduce my fine, or reduce my penalty points ( or both if I am lucky ). Otherwise, service fee of $250 will be refunded.
I went to Weehawken court on 9/19/2008 with one of his lawyer. I was offered that judge will reduce my points to 0, but my fine will be $485 + court fee. I rejected this and asked refund. Incresing fine to 6 times was not a part of my deal, in my understanding.
Mr. Bhatt denied to refund, and eventually, I had paid $85 original fine + about $30 court fee + $250 service fee with 2 points, and missed one working day. It was not clearly explained to the client, the decision may increase your fine .. A LOT.
Please use his service wisely....

He took our $700 check and then was impossible to contact. Receptionist screens calls and it seems he's just never available. Asked for direct phone contact number, and was denied. Response finally came night before trial at 10:00 PM. This office is nothing more than a revolving door for multi-court appearances and profit.
