this lawyer called another Divorce lawyer and involved an extortion tactic to get a client to settle for less money than what she is due. She will be reported to the bar and should be fined on her license.

I paid this woman for advice. Instead she attacked me and was so verbally aggressive that I felt suicidal. What a funt!

Kathleen spent more time talking about how much money she makes an hour than she did on my divorce case. While, I understand she makes $385 an hour, I would have appreciated her guidance during my divorce process. I had to keep asking follow-up questions via telephone due to her lack of thoroughness. It would have cost me a lot less if she would have just taken the time to help me. It's been a sloppy job on her part.My separation agreement/custody agreement is very vague and it is causing all sorts of issues now with my ex. Thanks for nothing.

Ms. Edge performed poorly in her duties to represent me in a divorce proceeding. She charged the same fee for her paralegal as she did for herself. She is out of town often, tired with her own family, moody, and charged me for personal non-legal opinion I did not need. I needed legal counsel. She did not tell me the full consequence of her legal advice, and when she was wrong, she pointed out where she was right, at my expense. I do not, and never would recommend her legal counsel. I knew her for years on a simple divorce case. Years!! Between my ex and myself, our divisible assets, minus stolen wealth was less than $250,000. Over two years, and I am still dealing with the divorce. She was unable to see my divorce through, and negotiated a Property Settlement Agreement that favored the other side. I will be reaching out to the Virginia Bar. My conclusion is that I would of been better off reading family and contract law for a year than enlisting her services.

I feel Kathleen is an outstanding lawyer. She is very compassionate and truly cares about her clients. I have and would highly recommend her as an attourney.

She overcharges. My case was cut and dry. I brought all documentation to her, she didn't have to research anything and it cost me close to $5000. I met with her twice and saw her assistant/legal clerk for all other appointments and was still charged her fee. It cost more than she quoted me and she didn't even complete all the work. I had to do my own QDRO because it was not completed by her office when the divorce was final and I was not giving her another penny. I had to call her office to ask for the money to be released from my account there. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Ms. Edge is the best lawyer you can find to take on insurmountable odds. She is fair and she can get the job done. I would recommend this high quality lawyer with out reservation. She is well worth the investment. Very satisfied.
