It takes a lot to be an attorney. They have one of the hardest jobs there is. Divorce is in child custody battles take a very long time no matter what attorney you have. Personally I know that Edith Peebles Is dedicated to her career and she will deliver above and beyond. Unfortunately we live in a world where things aren’t always perfect nor do they always end up the way that we wanted them to be. As far as professionalism and dedication I give her five stars

I did feel like the resolution took a very long time from start to finish. I did get messages to her from her office staff, she would call me back that day, even if it was 9:30 p.m. I don't know anything about divorces, except mine and it was not hostile and we wanted to stay friendly so it was unusual. But it seems like it should have been faster then 16months so that is my complaint. Also about 1 year later I got a call from another person in the office who needed to do some work on part of the settlement, i didn't even realize the work needed to be done. I thought it was over, and that ended up being another bill.

She is my wife's attorney, very unprofessional, she would stoop to name calling in the courtroom. She was not prepared for court, finally turned her paperwork in THE DAY before the court date (the rule is 10 days prior). Liked to drag her feet to make more money of of her clients. I would NOT recommend her as an attorney!

FALSE IMPRESSIONS. Very professional in appearance and manner. Full of great promises, but don't let that fool you! Almost 3 years in an ongoing divorce battle, Edith has failed on every level, and I have lost all confidence in her. Edith fails to communicate, reply, inform, discuss, prepare, advise. Appears for court late and unprepared. Has no apparent strategy going into court, she just goes with the flow, no argument, so I lose every time. No fight in her, a complete nightmare. Financially drains you with no positive results.

I was on the opposite of her. She had no knowledge of what she was doing what or the case was about. She actually stated that and I paraphrase...you just want half! Really, she is awful! If you want to leave broke than go for it. If you want it to last forever, she is your man... Beware, she will forever amend, delay. DO NOT let her! Prepare your lawyer.

After I fired my first attorney Edith was a god send. She was very responsive and I felt very secure under her guidance. She was recommended to me by several attornies and they were right on. She is one "tough" lady and that's a compliment!

Very good lawyer. Needs slight improvement on responsiveness but eventually will get back to you. OUTSTANDING in the court room with great experience and a very solid approach. Very good child custody lawyer. She saved our supposedly "unwinnnable" case from a lawyer that quit our case and hung us out to dry. I would definitely recommend her if you're going to court!

Doesn't return phone messages - doesn't communicate well with her assistants or her clients-sent someone elses divorce papers to me-no response when phone message left. Didn't inform of changes in court order. Don't waste your time or money.

Overall excellent, but if you are looking for someone that will return your phone calls in a timely fashion, you may want to look elsewhere. But when it counts, she is there.

She told me she would represent me when I talked to her in her office. Two weeks later she denied that she said she would represent me. A month later she called me and asked me how things were going and did I still need an attorney. Very unprofessional.
