I had a very bad experience with Michael Lectman. I went to him for my divorce and he made me all kinds of promises. I gave him a hefty retainer and didn't hear from him for months. I thought I was allowing him time to work on my case but when I finally called him, it turned out that he had done nothing. He blew through the retainer and did nothing. He didn't tell me when the retainer was gone and presented me with a huge bill when I fired him. I refused to pay. He put a lien on my house and took me to court. Of course he won...what judge is going to rule against a lawyer? Find another attorney. There are hundreds out there.

If you want a lawyer that's going to work deligently in your case, this is not the one. This guy basically had me put the case together for him before a court hearing and still was not able to defend me properly causing me to lose. He's the type that would do the bare minimum and expect full compensation. He avoids face to face/phone communication but rather email. The most disconcerning fact is that he lies to calm you down and doesn't do what he promises..What can we expect? He's a lawyer after all...Shame on You!!

Mr. Lechtman is a competent, experienced lawyer who helped me get custody of my child. I would reccomend him to anyone who needs a good caring lawyer who knows his way around the courtroom

Had very bad experience with this lawyer. I do not suggest him to anybody. After I paid him a retainer, he offered a very bad service.
