If you're looking for an attorney to help you get out of paying child support, Judith Ridgeway would be an excellent choice. I never received any child support from my ex, which is why I presume his parents hired this attorney. While my attorney and I were sitting in the judge's chambers, she barged in completely uninvited and said to the judge "go easy on him". This was months after the divorce was final and she was not even representing my ex anymore. That's not at all ethical, in fact it's downright spiteful. I was a single mother putting myself through college at the time and she seemed to enjoy trampling all over me. Perhaps it made her feel better about herself. I have since moved on and done very well for myself. I would highly advise anybody down on their luck NOT to look to this attorney to be any sort of advocate. And if your ex hires her, make sure you find an attorney who will ensure you get your child support.

DO NOT HIRE HER!!! I hired her for a divorce and had to fire her because there was no communication from her at all regarding my case. Phone calls went unanswered, emails went unanswered until weeks later, questions went unanswered, and deadlines were missed. She apparently has interns working for her, and they don't communicate with each other either, as one day I received four different calls from four different interns asking me the same question. When I fired her, she presented me with a bill for over $1600, which I paid, but I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I hired another attorney recently for about half of what she was going to charge me and he's GREAT! Oh, yeah... the new attorney requested my file from her office two weeks ago and still hasn't received it.

This woman, who hates men and thanks everyone is adicted to drugs, is a horrible lawyer. She has her assistant do all the work. He assistant gets all of her worked mixed in with other client?s files. DO NOT USE HER!!!!
