Will any one of us ever be ready for a divorce?
It’s an emotional hurricane. You know it’s coming, you know it’s too late to run, so do you just ride it out? Oh, and there is no “school" to teach you what to do during the "hurrivorce"
Hence, what do you do? I was scared, confused, my world was upside down and I am a man, so why would I ask for help?’
Then I met Debbie Fiss. Within minutes of meeting Debbie, her brilliant intellect turned my chaotic world into tranquility. Debbie listened, removed my doubt, explained my rights and helped me understand the divorce process.
She wasted no time and the same day filed the divorce and even got hold of the Sheriff in a different state to serve the papers.
One year later, and after gracefully circumventing EVERY possible curveball thrown at us, Debbie settled the case, filed the final papers expeditiously and I am already divorced! Thank you for caring about me and giving me this new lease on life, Debbie!

Debbie was a lousy lawyer. These reviews must have been written by her friends and family members. She charged a fortune, didn't write papers and didn't know the law.

My marriage was wonderful until, one fine evening when I was faced with divorce and all the ugliness that comes attached with it. I did not know exactly what to do or what the best course of action was in this unusual situation. Then by the grace of God,I was introduced to the nicest Attorney I have ever met, Debbie Fiss. She is trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, but most importantly she is fair person. She was superb in this entire process. She definitely delivered the results I hoped for, from the start. I would recommend her in a heartbeat, and that is god's honest truth! Debbie, thank you!

Searching for a divorce lawyer is something you don't always plan for, but goodness gracious was I happy to have found Debbie Fiss.
She had all the attributes I was looking for in a divorce lawyer and then some!! Not only is Debbie very knowledgeable, experienced, fierce litigator and negotiator but she is also an amazing human being.
Debbie is not afraid to keep you focus on whats most important. (In my case my children)
Debbie genuinely cared about me and my children and helped us navigate around some very special circumstances.
What was the end result of working with such a caring, attentive and lovely woman like Debbie?
Well aside from the security of having someone on your side to safe guard your future and interest you also are guaranteed to make a lifelong friend.

After searching for a lawyer and reading numerous reviews, I came across Debbie’s reviews and knew right away that she was the one for me. You see, I’m the type of person that likes to deal with people who are lively and have some spunk. Going through a divorce is tough enough, having a lawyer that’s mundane makes it tougher. Debbie was everything I needed and more. On my way to meet her for our first appointment, I thought I was surely going to have an emotional break-down in front of her. But the opposite happened. She made me feel empowered, and did so every time I met her thereafter. When I was unsure about how to handle things, Debbie talked me through (without being pushy) and kept the ball rolling. Being a good lawyer is one thing, having a great personality puts her over the top. I’m happy to have met her during this difficult period in my life and while I hope to never see her again under the same circumstances, I’m happy to know that she’s just a phone call away.

Debbie is FANTASTIC ! If you are reading this right now in search of an attorney you can stop now. She is it ! Debbie is knowledgeable and as everyone else here says no- nonsense. I couldn't have been happier with her representation. From the moment I hired her she went right to work, same day. I wish their were more honest, hardworking and most importantly trustworthy attorneys like herself. I personally hired Debbie after trusting her fantastic reviews online. If there could be one person in my corner for a difficult divorce case, this lady is it! Debbie is an amazing attorney - caring, attentive, warm, and very detail-oriented. I am currently working with Ms. Fiss on a child custody case, I would highly recommend if you require legal counsel in this area. The knowledge and 30 plus years of experience in her practice of law was clear when I met Ms. Deborah Fiss for a consultation. I also felt an appreciation to someone that unequivocally understood the legal dilemma that I was experiencing. Upon detailing my case, she instantly had a strategy to implement. Deborah was a great lawyer. I came to her after misfiling my own case. To make matters worse; I had moved to Texas in the process. I found myself in a nightmare situation of having to deal with the court from across the country. I retained Debbie to represent me in my divorce. Debbie is an experienced professional who is personable, confident and compassionate. She genuinely cares about her clients and her dedication is unwavering. She is able to assess a situation logically and quickly and then provide appropriate legal advice. She has established respectful and professional working relationships with opposing attorneys. It says a lot when her opposing attorneys like and respect her (see her peer endorsements and reviews on AVVO). Therefore I think that Debbie is like the “Divorce Attorney Whisperer”—she can be persuasive in a difficult situation and achieve a desired end result that is fair and respectful to all involved (although I have seen her claws come out in court to protect my interests when it was necessary).
Debbie is also a “Diva,” a woman of rare, outstanding talent and extremely independent. She has a way to connect with people, is highly intelligent and a compassionate person.

I was EXTREMELY lucky to retain her as my lawyer and she is worth her weight in gold, silver and platinum! she is personable and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable in COURT!! my previous counsel was a joke who did nothing but file continuance after continuance and cost me and my family time and money. Debbie cut through the delays, layed waste to the opposing counsel, quite masterfully, and still maintained her her smile, poise and humble demeanor. I am/was Debbie Fiss client. I am also an attorney. As an attorney I held Debbie, and her staff, to a very high standard. I did alot of research including speaking to quite a few people and consulting with several other attorneys before even choosing her to represent me. All I can say is "WOW". I was so impressed. Thanks to Deborah, I have my kid with me. I interviewed close to 10 attorneys before getting to her. She is smart and has a positive attitude, always open to conciliate. Even before the case started, she did the right steps to be ahead in the process. Deborah is very knowledgeable with the court procedures and explains to you what is coming next. She also explains to you how the time of her services has been spent. Of course, as any other person passing through a divorce, I was afraid of my lawyer extending the case to overcharge, but she got a fast resolution of the case by her conciliatory philosophy. In order to be fair with this review, I will suggest to her to be more open to silly questions coming from his clients, remember that we have no clue, a lot of anxiety and, I would say, tremors. This lawyer is not as good as described below. She did not do her job well throughout my divorce process. Instead, she charged me a huge amount of money, promised so many things and at the end, all her promises meant nothing. My ex's attorney was very strong. He really fought for his client. Deborah charges money before she does anything. All she needs is money. Her office staff is not as good as described also. One of the secretaries was rude with me on the phone. I would not recomment this lawyer to anybody.

I have known Debbie Fiss for the last three years and she has saved me from being incarcerated two and one-half years ago.
