Based on my experience dealing with Grewal Law, I found the firm’s approach disappointing, unnecessarily adversarial and at times dismissive. Some communications appeared to simply reproduce or forward what their client had written, including material that, did not appear to have been adequately reviewed or professionally reframed before being sent. This questions the level of guidance being provided to the client and whether counsel was helping to reduce rather than escalate conflict. Family lawyers should advise their clients, narrow disputes and encourage practical solutions, particularly when children are involved. That was not my experience. Even when communicating with someone who is not their client, professionalism, courtesy and thoughtful communication should remain important. Family law is already stressful and expensive without unnecessary conflict. Based on my experience, I expected more professional judgment, client guidance and a solution-focused approach from Grewal Law.
