He overcharged me, took too long, didn't serve the defendant properly (it was return mailed / not accepted back) and miscommunicated. They would send simple one line emails with questions I already answered and charge me a minimum of $25 per email and per reply, even if short, repetitive and initiated by them. I was asked to proofread everything and they charged me for those requests and my many needed corrections. They still misspelled my name when I went to sign the complaint. There were high charges just for them calling me to schedule a time to come in to sign, etc. They charged $3500 to file a simple roof complaint, took 4 months to write the complaint, and forced me to fire him. If I kept him, and even won the case, I wouldn't have had any funds left to repair the roof damage. My next attorney noticed many "novice mistakes" in the complaint, charged me less and got the case settled quickly. Pete also refused to refund even a portion of my retainer. I do not recommend using him.
