Professional Bullying Against an Early-Term Pregnant Immigrant
As a female Chinese immigrant in my early-term pregnancy, I am traumatized by Craig Tervit’s predatory practices. I am sharing this to warn others of his unprofessional and abusive conduct.
1. Retaliatory Billing & Bullying: After he explicitly confirmed a "no balance" status, he maliciously issued a $1160+bill 30 minutes later because I expressed dissatisfaction.
2. Exploiting Vulnerability: He pressured me for money while I am in a vulnerable physical state (early pregnancy). The mental stress caused by his threats and 12% interest charge is unconscionable.
3. Internal Disarray: The firm has cycled through 3 assistants in 2 years. This lack of stability led to 0 progress on my Will, yet he expects full payment for incomplete work.
His conduct is not just poor service; it is a lack of basic human ethics. He weaponizes legal fees to intimidate immigrants. Stay away, especially if you are in a vulnerable situation.
