Joy Nwawe was a horrible lawyer. During her first appearance for my case she didn't even bother to discuss with me the particulars of the case to get a full understanding of what was happening. This was a common theme with her. This resulted in her being surprised and making strange reactions, constantly looking at me and being in a state of shock. She then claims to have not been told the details of the case. Did I forget to say that she also came late. An amendment was made to my criminal court conditions, she informed me that I was able to be within 100m of the alleged victim. This was not true. This resulted in me breaching my condition. All throughout her tenure she constantly told me that this was legal aid and that they don't pay her enough. The arguments she made with the court were weak with the Judge refuting her on a regular basis. Last, because I was unable to complete a task, she began to make personal insults. That's when I fired her. Avoid her at all costs.
