The rating are all true of this person. worst lawyer ever. if there were zero stars he would get them. over billed and poor services. i would have been better off representing myself.

I retained this lawyer expecting competent representation and got the opposite. My experience, in summary:
Poor advocacy in court. He struggled to communicate clearly with the bench and, on at least one occasion, was admonished by the judge for misunderstanding the law applicable to my matter. As a client sitting in the courtroom, it was hard to watch.
Fees I considered unreasonable. The bills I received were well out of proportion to the work actually performed and the results achieved. I would describe it as being taken advantage of.
Misleading communications. He provided me with information about the status and prospects of my case that I later determined was not accurate. in effect I kept paying him for misleading and valueless service.
Once I figured out what had actually been going on in my file, I terminated the retainer and filed a formal misconduct complaint with the Law Society. I would not hire him again and I would not recommend him to anyon

I must find all the terrible lawyers in calgary because I had this lawyer act for me on a civil litigation file and it was a horrific experience.
Although he is cheap you get what you pay for and you might as well not bother with litigation if you hire this Brad findlater. It would be cheaper just to pay the otherwise because this incompetent lawyer will get you no where.
I was in court with him a few times on my case and each time not only was it clear that he had a very poor knowledge of the law but also he is poorly organized missing documents that the judge requested and he could not find.
Although he does respond to your emails in a timely manner he charges every time for responding even if it is to arrange a meeting with him.
Do yourself a favor hire a good lawyer and pass on this one.. if you want to see how bad he really is research him on Canlii legal search site. He seems to always lose cases. A tell tale sign of incompetence as I learned the hard way.
