I walked away from the whole thing feeling really defeated. The prosecutor just felt biased from the start — like they’d already decided who I was before I even opened my mouth. Every time I tried to explain my side, it felt like I was talking to a wall. There was no real curiosity, no effort to understand, just this cold determination to fit me into whatever narrative they’d already built. It was frustrating and honestly pretty heartbreaking.
