Are you in a vulnerable situation and desperately need an advocate? Feeling powerless and need someone to lead you? Well don't turn here! Lisa's assistant was very prompt with initial replies and, after the consult, made you feel like you mattered. Then, like a switch, as soon as my retainer was sent the silence was deafening. The prompt replies from her assistant ceased and the overall communications between Lisa and her office were quite literally NIL. I could not get a hold of anyone, my messages went completely unanswered, I required guidance in some initial logistical replies I was required to send but got NOTHING! For 2 weeks I tried to solicit SOMEONE from that office to call me back and was even lied to by a representative on one occasion. I wasn't even provided Lisa's phone number despite my requests. This level of service was unethical, non-transparent, and completely unacceptable. I can't imagine what would happen when the real requirement of representation would begin.

I've worked in the legal field for 35 years & have hired family law & litigation lawyers. I’ve never encountered such an arrogant, grossly incompetent lawyer as Lisa, nor one that bills so excessively it is legalized robbery. A meeting was booked on the basis she would meet a deadline. After waiting 2 wks for the meeting, she advised she would make an application to extend instead of meeting the deadline. I would not have met with her if the deadline wasn't going to be met. I advised the delay had to be 2 wks, max 1 mth. She adjourned for 2 mths, contrary to her client’s instructions. She did not make 2 applications she was to make in the application to extend the deadline. Another lawyer has to be paid due to Lisa's gross incompetence. Her student acted as the lawyer. Lisa only made the application & was so grossly incompetent I was appalled. Excessive costs were ordered, due to her extending the deadline which a competent lawyer would've argued against. She billed $15,000 for ‹ 1 mth
