Shelton told apposing council that I agreed to things that he had never actually asked me (date we were going to be listing a house). Did not seem to be paying attention during our intake meeting where I described the narcissistic behaviours of my ex, as he later suggested it was a "smart thing" that my ex hired trades to all of his portion of renovation -- a cost that was never agreed upon or discussed. Instead of doing what I thought would be a simple task -- determine with my "construction company owning" ex, whether all open building permits for garage being developed on jointly owned dwelling had been signed off and completed.. he instead suggested that I contact my realtor and ask if it is problematic to have open permits while trying to sell a property. Even after several emails trying to implore how common sense and important this detail is, he chose to instead send emails talking about how he cannot provide legal advise regarding real-estate things.
