After a lengthy consultation with another attorney at the firm, Onyx assigned me Kevin Campbell. I felt unsure of him but a senior partner assured me he was competent. Unfortunately, it took him months to learn the facts of the case. Even so, he never seemed to have a firm grasp of anything. He kept getting basic details wrong and would not listen regardless. His attitude toward me was very condescending, so I felt like maybe it was my fault and tried harder to be a better client. Eventually, my confidence was so eroded I sought advice from a therapist. Mr. Campbell wasted two years of my life, tens of thousands of dollars and he achieved exactly nothing. I now have a more experienced attorney who seems to be making progress. But since so much time has gone by, even if I win, it will be more difficult to reclaim anything I am owed. The remainder of the estate is doubtless much smaller than it was when I started wasting time, energy, and money on Mr.Campbell.
