OMG. RUN AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER. RUN FAR AND RUN FAST….???????????????? This *ahem* lawyer who is handling my late husbands estate on behalf of the trustee, his daughter from a previous marriage, as he passed without a will.. She’s one of 4 beneficiaries. We were married for 20 years, and we had two special needs children together. I was a completely grief-stricken widow, battling 2 very aggressive forms of cancer, and suddenly a single parent of two very fragile children. I agreed to let my stepdaughter become trustee because I was so emotionally and physically fragile. She hired Mr. Callahan to represent the estate on her behalf. Callahan was very already very familiar with the substantial wealth involved with the estate, as he is a close personal friend of the trustee, and despite my rigorous numerous objections and legal concerns I raised about his OBVIOUS conflict of interest, as he had previously represented the estate trustee in a family court matter AGAINST the estate.
