This lawyer asked me to make a complaint about my boss during the same week that I returned to work from an eight month leave of absence. I didn't know it at the time that this was illegal according to the laws of province of Ontario, Canada. She wanted to meet with me. I refused and she said that if I refused to meet her that she would send me ten thousand dollars worth of invoices I would have to pay for not attending her meetings with an investigator. Valerie said that I didn't have Code protection. She never investigated my in-office complaint of sexual harassment that occurred in 2010 because the accused was her colleague's ex-spouse. She forced me to make a HR complaint & if I refused she said she would terminate me. When she started at TTC she was introduced as someone who had previous human resources experience and from an external law firm which she confirmed however, this was blantently false because she obtained that experience working at TTC under her maiden name.
