Sadly, this lawyer was inattentive, had poor communication, not supportive of his client, poor listening skills Missed important filings for the ex's lawyer causing detrimental effects on his clients' case. Always had an excuse that he was to busy and couldn't communicate in a timely fashion, or was always in court. Was weak when faced with a stronger lawyer with years more experience than him. Seemed more supportive of his client's ex partner than his own client. Did everything in a rushed manner and missed important pieces of documentation. If you want a lawyer that will help support you during a contentious separation DO NOT CHOOSE Mr. Brendan Gemmell, if you do, your ex spouse will be very happy with your choice of lawyers. My suggestion would be to avoid using this firm at all costs. Lawyers are leaving this firm on a regular basis, and your case will be handed over to various lawyers within the firm.
