David Baker was an incompetent and disrespectful lawyer who was assigned my case. He was an egotistical bully who tried to threaten me into a settlement that only benefited my ex, then when I called him out on it he tried to sabatoge my case and my access to Legal Aid. He neglected to tell me when I was to appear in court and he also didn't show. He shared my confidential emails with my ex and when I didn't fire him for that he got a lawyer and took me to court to be able to fire me after dragging things out to the last moment. It took until the day before my trial before a private lawyer agreed to take his place and my trial was delayed because of it. Do not work with this lawyer if you have a choice, he's ableist, sexist, a bully and has no problem being completely unethical to sabatoge his own clients if they don't immediately do what he suggests. Fortunately the new lawyer was brilliant and I was successful at the rescheduled trial. Save yourself the trouble.
