RUN RUN RUN! Run fast and far from this wack job. She is a nightmare! She doesn't bother to call you back, disappears for weeks at a time with all sorts of excuses. I sent brought my paperwork to her and left it at her office and she got upset that I'd not sent it after a month. I told her I brought it to her and she told me she didn't know. She thought I'd send it electronically when I told her I dropped it off. Then when I did send electronically she was mad at me because it came in upside down. As if there was not a way to flip it. Then after disappearing again I fired her. My exes lawyer didn't receive anything from her and nothing at all was filed on my behalf but, I did receive a bill for nearly 4000 dollars. I asked for a breakdown of the bill but she refused to provide one. Problem is, she was acquired thru legal aid so she's going to get paid and I'll have to pay it later on which makes me want to puke. I don't know how you sleep at night Joy. You're nothing but a thief!

Joy will not fill out necessary court documents, she is extremely unprofessional. She will only do what the opposing counsel states and will not represent her own clients best interests. This woman should not be allowed to practice Law. Go with Joy if you want to spend YEARS in court trying to repair the damage she has done. Joy was once recommended by a resource center, however every client who used Joy has had to hire another lawyer to attempt repair of their case.
