Do not EVER go with this lawyer! I had her for a family law case when she worked in Barrie, ON and she is not compassionate, understanding or empathetic towards survivors of domestic violence. She failed to properly go in front of a Judge with all the documents and evidence of abuse that I submitted to her. She is very condescending in her email communications and her knowledge of family law was severely lacking at best. I’m really glad to see she’s no longer practicing in family law anymore because she absolutely did not do what was best for myself or my child. To her I was just another paycheck. I was a legal aid client and she sure treated me as such. She completely ruined my entire case and didn’t even try to fight for me. Most of the time she was agreeing with what the other party wanted and tried forcing me to settle. Save yourself the time, energy, money and stress and go with a different lawyer!!!
