Be aware that when he advertising he is a duty counsel he is not the one of legal aid. Legal doesnt have him on their list. He is a telephone answerer for a members subscription. Thats not duty counsel. Thats call center.Legal aid or someone should investigate this advertising proclamation because it can confuse us that need help.

He claims that he had to write the bar exam "twice" because he couldn't find article. Well, let's look at this. He moved to China to "teach" - how will you find an Ontario or Canadian article placement in China? He says that by the time he found articles his first bar exam results had expired so he "passed" twice. Doesn't the Law Society say that candidates have a maximum of four years to pass the requirements so shouldn't his results still be valid? These have the appearance of conflated answers. Sounds like he may have no experience and perhaps a penchant to conflate his "experience." You should ask questions up front. Educate yourself before believing any marketing claims from anyone.

inferiority complex clouds his judgment. he will make things about himself. be patient with him. he is nursing the wounds he still harbors from his non-starter "career" into law. affordable though. will return calls and emails quickly. cheaper rates than a lot of other places. up to you if you want to take the risk with JP or not but you also take a risk anywhere you go. ask questions then decide. cheaper than a lot of other rates.

I also had a poor experience. He's not really experienced. He says he's an experienced criminal defence lawyer but how can you be a defence lawyer when you've never actually defended anyone? Found out he's one of those lawyers that answers telephone calls. I guess that's what counts as experienced these days. Anyway. He was difficult to get along with. I don't know if that's why nobody hired him. Maybe he needs to reflect on that and figure out why his personality is grating on people instead of projecting and saying it's other people's faults. Best of luck. p.s. Close the closet door in your tv show. It's been like that for months.

Insecure bully. He has zero actual real world experience. He took four years from graduation to being a licensed lawyer. Four. He had to write the bar exam twice. Twice. He worked in an actual law firm for eight month. Less than a year. He went to court once to hold the coffee of the actual lawyer. SHE did great. This guys has an inferiority complex which makes him come across arrogant. He's ignorant. Unprofessional. Unskilled. A bully. You have to ask yourself why nobody wants to hire him. He likes teaching paralegals in technical colleges and foreigners because he doesn't have the education or experience to teach law students (they would eat him alive) or college level paralegals. He doesn't have a real office. Just a "mailing" address. He doesn't go to court or have actual clients. Just a call in service to give you "summary advice" so like..."don't talk to anyone. Plead not guilty. Hire someone in the morning." Do what you want but you should research before you hire any lawyer.
