He was good at returning calls, emails and scheduling in person meetings when I requested one however, he failed to communicate with other lawyers that had been on the case prior to his being assigned the case which led to 3 days of sanctions motions after Opposing Counsel came in the day of trial ranting to the Judge about what he wasn't made aware of and discovery he didn't get. I had to tell Starshak to watch his language a few times as well because of a term he used to describe an individual. The Judge excluded a witness because Opposing Counsel alleged that Starshak and Carter never provided him the correct address for the witness nor told him what the witness would testify to and that the subpoena they sent for the witness to appear for a deposition was an invalid subpoena. The Judge agreed and banned the witness. In the end, instead of sanctioning Starshak and his firm, the Judge sanctioned the client. No trial took place and my injuries were never dealt with. Horrible
