Hired for a simple real estate transaction. Misrepresented his fee. Stated in our first email that his "standard fee" was $800.00 I made my decision to hire him based on that stated fee. This turned into $1500.00 (just the basic fee not including disbursements). At no point did he say to see his web site for full fee structure or that it was based on sae price. His argument was that I should have looked at his web site. Additionally he did not perform his fiduciary duty when dividing the property tax based on sale date costing us an extra several hundred dollars - all documented in emails. A lazy hack who is better skilled at obfuscation and avoidance than performing his obligations.
