Myrna Barbar is more than a loyer . She is amazing person. I was going through a very difficult time . Ex husband with his loyer was trying to turn the divorce process in very unjust way. Myrna has been the biggest blessing to me through the most difficult period in my life. I met with 2 other lawyers before settling with Myrna and her approach made me feel like I was absolutely in the best hands. My ex husband tried to turn our divorce into something nasty but Myrna has a way with people and she made even the most stressful negotiations a positive experience. She truly brings out the best in people. She sticks to the facts and is not interested in petty arguments. She is fair, honest, direct and kind. As a stay at home mom who was now entering a very different stage in my life, she was incredibly supportive and encouraging and extremely level-headed. Me Barbar est pour moi un pilier. Depuis plusieurs années, elle me soutient, me conseille et me supporte pour maintes décisions cruciales pour mon entreprise. Ce qui m’étonne le plus chez elle c’est son humilité. Étant professionnelle de la santé et enseignante, je côtoie plusieurs personnalités. Me Barbar sort du lot et de loin. Elle est juste assez entêtée pour ne pas perdre l’avantage qui lui est dû. Sa perspicacité lui permet de constater très rapidement quand il y a anguille sous roche. Elle est pacifique ce qui selon mon humble avis est une qualité essentielle dans son métier. Ça permet la négociation et la persuasion ce qui est souvent l’issue des dossiers litigieux. Je recommande fortement Maître Barbar pour tout cas de divorce. En plus de la maitrise de la loi et de la langue, c'est l'intelligence et la rapidité de l'intuition qui fait d'elle une avocate d'exception spécialement devant les juges. L'autre coté positive, c'est que Me Barbar prend ton dossier très au sérieux, c'est comme si vous êtes son seul client. I met Mtre. Barbar in October 2020. By then I had already been mired in a contentious 2 and a half year divorce proceeding. My lawyer reached a point where he felt that he could no longer provide me with the value and expertise that I required, so he referred me to Myrna. What a godsend she turned out to be. She is very professional, courteous, transparent, well-informed, and tenacious. She always keeps her clients needs in mind. She explains the steps that she is going to take, explains them thoroughly, and is always open to make adjustments if the client provides new information or insights. When required to appear in Court, she comes very well prepared. I never saw more relevant jurisprudence in my life. Her presentations in Court are never over dramatized or excessive, she only presents the facts. And she has no time for opposing attorneys who seek to unnecessarily prolong proceedings.
