Amina Joober ruined my life in my custody battle and divorce proceedings. She was a terrible lawyer who gave a strong pitch that she would fight for me and my children to protect them by helping me fight for full custody against my ex who is not the real parent. After getting paid her 11k retainer fee which was already more than anywhere else including senior lawyers fees, she then said she will not fight for full custody and that I will not get it. My exs lawyer then changed their application and started asking for full custody instead of shared custody… Me Joober did not do a provision for costs, I am a single parent who’s not working and my exs lawyer put in a provision that I pay 40k. Me Joober did not submit my own divorce application/ cross application, she did not submit my exhibits, she did not request my divorce immediately on grounds of severe abuse and domestic violence. She basically put me in a position where now it’s harder to get full custody since she’s offered shared.

Amina Joober is truly an exceptional family lawyer.
