Oddly I had a few lawyers who have good things about Gillians -- but this is not my experience. She did little in the way of explaining the roadmap and I felt like I was in the dark most of the time. In my entire time with her, she was not able to negotiate a single detail of contention with opposing counsel. When discussing areas of contention, when drafting emails she would often leave out many things that were discussed -- which would require further clarifying emails. She never actually served my ex with filed Statement of Claim. She had inquired in one email whether I wanted to do this, a detail which I missed responding to. She had never brought it up again in the following 7 months where she continued to be retained. When questioned about this she responded "When I don’t have instructions to serve immediately, I diarize to raise the issue again three months prior to the expiry date, which would have been in September." I had expressed a desire for urgency, speed manytimes over.

The service exceeded my expectations. I stated my objectives. They matched me with Gillian. We reviewed my strategy. She added her builds and said we can get there. I retained her. She got us there. Gillian Croucher is a very good attorney and I highly recommend her. She got me my freedom. She thinks and listens very well. Chuck L

Expensive lawyer who will drag things out. She did not even have the affidavit filed for the judge to look at in court and served it to the other lawyer at the last minute. She also did not even submit the right amount of child support and I was grossly underpaid for which she tried to offer a discount after I complained but instead I decided to fire her and hire a competent lawyer because it is deeply concerning she could not do a simple child support calculation when that is her area of expertise. She also misrepresented the amount I made to the court. I could have saved myself $6k and done a better job representing myself. DO NOT risk hiring this lawyer and losing your case.
