Terrible lawyer! Does not know enough about family law as she should and very often when I asked questions, she would "have to look into that and let you know". I stupidly spend over $20k on her and she got my case nowhere in almost 1.5 years. In court she was unbelievably meek and would not speak up or fight for me. Though she was very aggressively asking me for retainer top up over and over again. She cannot even spell, my documents were filled with errors, including the spelling of my own name! Very sloppy work. I left her and got another lawyer for a fraction of the cost and he closed my case in less than a month! Sadly though I was awarded court costs, the judge did not give me nearly close to what i spent on this lawyer as she said I was grossly overcharged. Be warned! If you spend a ton on this lawyer thinking you will get costs awarded and get your money back, you prob wont'. I got a mere 20% back.
