This lawyer responded to my request for assistance in my family case where my children's non-Indigenous mother was given mobility contrary to the expert and also responsibility to foster their Indigenous heritage after crossexamination of whether my Indigenous elder mother was violent and my Indigenous home community was too violent to take my children. They recognized that one event a year was not the law in Ontario but proceeded to fumble my case away before washing their hands of it. Other than half-baked assistance, I am now dealing with the fall out impacts on my children who have never had the chance for their Indigenous rights to be recognized. Faux pas which may explain why Ontario is so rife with discrimination towards Indigenous litigants.
