I was a victim in a criminal case Michael Malleson prosecuted. He was very kind and prepared me to testify really well. He predicted accurately what types of questions the defence lawyer would ask me...and even the way he would ask the questions. Afterwards, Michael kept me up to date about what was happening with the case. Thankfully none of the accused guy's ridiculous defences worked and he was eventually convicted. While the judge didn't give the sentence I had hoped for -- it was frankly more than I was expecting from our justice system. Afterwards Michael took the time to tell me various things about the case he couldn't tell me about before. He came across as a really bright, unpretentious and dedicated public servant -- for which I am grateful.
