This lawyer is the poster boy for the collective narcissism of a disgraceful profession. He is a shameless self-promoter who brazenly abuses whatever power he is granted as “special” prosecutor. Mr. Martland apparently believe the rules of court and law do not apply to him, and will use fraud and force to win at all costs. He squandered tax payer’s dollars and court resources on a mismanaged case that he and Crown aggresively pursued because of a childish vendetta. He and his fellow authoritarian bullies drove an innocent person to suicide with a malicious prosecution.
This privileged zealot is shockingly tone-deaf, bigoted, and not fit to act in the public’s interest. Instead of acting as Senior Counsel of an inquiry, his gross negligence should be the subject of one.
